Mumford & Sons Leads Peloton May Artist Series
Mumford & Sons Leads Peloton’s May Artist Series
Plus a Live DJ Ride with TOKiMONSTA and Emma Lovewell and an Electric Daisy Carnival class from Jess King.
The Peloton May Artist Series is taking shape, and the confirmed anchor is a strong one. Mumford & Sons will headline the month’s programming on May 21 at Peloton Studios New York, with classes confirmed across cycling, running, and rowing. Two additional music-themed classes round out what’s on the schedule so far.
What’s Confirmed for the May Artist Series

Three Mumford & Sons classes are set for Thursday, May 21, all at Peloton Studios New York:
- 30 min Mumford & Sons Ride with Christine D’Ercole, 7:00 PM ET
- 30 min Mumford & Sons Walk + Run with Mariana Fernández, 7:00 PM ET
- 30 min Mumford & Sons Row with Alex Karwoski, 7:15 PM ET
Additional classes will likely follow, either live or dropping directly to the on-demand library.
About Mumford & Sons
Mumford & Sons are a British folk rock band formed in London in 2007. The current lineup consists of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane. They broke through internationally with their 2009 debut album Sigh No More, which peaked at number two on both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200. Their follow-up, Babel (2012), won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and became one of the fastest-selling rock albums of that decade.
The band has released six studio albums in total, including Rushmere in 2025 and Prizefighter in 2026. That recent output means there is fresh material to pull from alongside catalog staples like “I Will Wait,” “Little Lion Man,” and “The Cave.”
Their music translates well to the workout format. The catalog moves between driving, banjo-forward folk anthems and slower, more emotionally grounded tracks, giving instructors range to structure intervals, recovery segments, and steady-state efforts across different class types. Christine D’Ercole in particular has history with the band’s music going back years.

Emma Lovewell and the TOKiMONSTA DJ Ride
Before the Mumford & Sons series, Emma Lovewell is scheduled to lead a 30-minute Live DJ Ride with TOKiMONSTA on Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 PM ET at Peloton Studios New York.
TOKiMONSTA is the stage name of Jennifer Lee, an American record producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. She is second-generation Korean American and was raised in Torrance, California. She made history in 2019 when she became the first female Asian American producer to receive a Grammy nomination in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category, for her 2017 album Lune Rouge.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the United States, and Peloton consistently celebrates AAPI Heritage Month with dedicated programming. The pairing of Emma Lovewell with TOKiMONSTA, one of the most prominent Korean American voices in electronic music, appears consistent with that pattern.

Jess King and the Electric Daisy Carnival Ride
Jess King is set to lead a 45-minute Electric Daisy Carnival Ride on Friday, May 8 at 10:00 AM ET, also at Peloton Studios New York.
The Electric Daisy Carnival, known as EDC, is the largest electronic dance music festival in North America. EDC Las Vegas 2026 takes place May 15-17 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The timing of Jess King’s class puts it one week ahead of the flagship event, making it a natural lead-in for anyone heading to Las Vegas, or simply looking for a high-energy option to close out the week.
What We’re Still Waiting On in May Artist Series News
April’s Artist Series ended on a rough note when the Backstreet Boys series, which had been scheduled for April 23, was cancelled and replaced with standard programming. Peloton told The Clip Out the cancellation was due to “a shift in programming and scheduling.”
That cancellation, combined with a brief and unexplained appearance of a Boyz II Men stretch class in the on-demand library on April 20, led us to speculate about whether a Boyz II Men Artist Series might be in the works. As of now, Peloton has not made any such announcement. Whether that class sighting was a preview of something coming in May or later, we don’t know yet (but we’re hopeful!).
For the Peloton May Artist Series, what’s been confirmed so far is a solid lineup. Mumford & Sons bring one of the strongest folk-rock catalogs in the modern era to classes that span cycling, running, and rowing. The TOKiMONSTA DJ Ride and the EDC-themed class give the month additional energy in the days leading up to the main series.
More announcements should follow as May approaches. We will keep you posted! What are you looking forward to?
