Matty Maggiacomo’s Walking Bootcamps for Peloton Tread

Walking Bootcamps

Matty Maggiacomo has something new on the schedule: Walking Bootcamps. These classes join Peloton’s existing range of running and hiking bootcamps, offering a new low-impact option for Peloton Members. Matty’s inaugural 30 minute Full Body Walking Bootcamp debuted on September 17, 2024, and is available in the On Demand library under Tread Bootcamps. Members who are looking for a live leaderboard can log in for an Encore class on September 19 at 7:00pm ET.

Class Structure and Details

Matty’s Walking Bootcamps are structured similarly to other Peloton Tread bootcamps. The first class featured a combination of power walking, drills, uphill walking, and a progressive walk. The session was divided into four segments:

  • 7-minute walk
  • 7 minutes of floor work
  • another 7-minute walk
  • 7 more minutes of strength exercises

A Bootcamp for Every Body

Matty’s Walking Bootcamps are designed for anyone seeking efficient low-impact workouts that include strength training. This particular class structure caters to various fitness levels, making it accessible and beneficial for a wide range of participants.  That’s not to say you won’t get a good workout–you will.  But, non-runners now have an option to enjoy the bootcamps that they may have previously been left out of.

How to Access the Classes

Members can easily access Matty’s Walking Bootcamp in the On Demand library and keep an eye on the upcoming schedule. Although there is currently only one, look for Matty to make more of these available in the future. And, if you love them, be sure to let Peloton (and Matty!!) know!
