Katie Wang Bustle Beauty Icon Honor Highlights Busy Summer
Katie Wang Bustle Beauty Icon Recognition Marks Busy Summer
The Peloton instructor’s Bustle recognition arrives during a summer that has also included a Peloton appearance at Coffee and Chill’s Wellness Cup in Venice and a headlining spot at Faces of Fitness Festival Chicago.

Katie Wang has built her Peloton reputation on rowing splits and strength sets that leave members sore for days. This summer, that reputation has crossed into new territory. Wang was named a Bustle Beauty Icon honoree in Bustle’s 2026 Beauty Icon Awards, earning a spot among nine creators the outlet says are redefining wellness through beauty, community, and self-care.

Bustle’s feature, published January 30, dubbed Wang “The Peloton Princess” and focused on the side of her platform that exists outside the workout studio. On TikTok, where she posts under the handle @katiewongspelledwang to roughly 128,600 followers, Wang has built a following for makeup and product reviews delivered with the same energy she brings to class. The piece framed her as proof that strength training and self-expression are not mutually exclusive. Wang shared the honor with her own followers this month, giving it renewed visibility even though the original article published earlier in the year.

Representing Peloton at Coffee and Chill
The recognition arrives during a busy summer stretch for Wang. On Sunday, July 12, she and fellow instructor Rad Lopez represented Peloton at Coffee and Chill’s Wellness Cup, a soccer-themed community event on Venice Boardwalk built around dozens of wellness and lifestyle brand activations, from protein coffee to compression therapy.
Peloton’s piece of the event was a pre-event outdoor workout, with Wang and Lopez leading hundreds of participants through a session on mats spread across the boardwalk before the main Wellness Cup festivities got underway.
Tunde Oyeneyin recently participated in another Coffee and Chill event in Miami during Sports Illustrated Swim Week. We see a pattern forming!
A Headlining Spot at Faces of Fitness
Wang is also confirmed as a Day 2 headliner at the 2026 Faces of Fitness Festival in Chicago later in July, teaching a bodyweight strength class on the main stage alongside fellow instructors Adrian Williams and Jess Sims.
The booking gives Wang a national festival stage during the same stretch as her Bustle recognition news on IG, and her Coffee and Chill appearance, reflecting how far her platform has extended beyond her regular class schedule on the Peloton app.
With all of this notable news, Wang’s summer has covered ground that few instructors manage in a few short weeks. With her Faces of Fitness set still ahead, the attention shows no signs of slowing down.
