Peloton Dance Cardio: Celebrate International Dance Day April 29
Your Apple Watch wants in too. Here is everything you need to know about the collection and how to earn a badge on April 29.
International Dance Day lands on April 29, and Peloton Dance Cardio is one of the best ways to mark the occasion. Whether you are a longtime member of the Peloton community or someone just looking for a reason to move, this collection gives you a full lineup of no-equipment-needed classes ready to go the moment you press play.

What Is Peloton Dance Cardio?
Peloton Dance Cardio is a dedicated class category within the broader Peloton app, designed to blend choreography and cardio into a single workout. No specialized equipment is required, which makes it one of the most accessible formats in the entire Peloton catalog.
The collection currently features 50 classes, with 13 of them running 20 to 30 minutes. That range matters, especially if you are planning to log one on April 29 for the Apple Watch challenge (more on that below). There are also a few Spanish-language options available for members who prefer to work out in Spanish.
Who Teaches Peloton Dance Cardio?
The instructor roster is a strong one. Classes are led by Jess King, Hannah Corbin, Emma Lovewell, Leanne Hainsby-Aldis, Callie Gullickson, Rebecca Kennedy, Cody Rigsby, Ally Love, and Camila Ramon, who joined the lineup and brought serious energy to the format. There is something for everyone, from beginner-friendly sessions to more advanced classes that will genuinely challenge you.

What Kind of Music Can You Expect?
The music variety is genuinely broad. Peloton Dance Cardio classes pull from hip hop, 90s, Latin, Reggaeton, K-pop, House, 2000s, 2010s, pop, Fit Family, and Beyonce and USHER themed sessions. There is even a Live DJ class in the mix, born out of the Peloton x Armada DJ Residency that brought live DJ energy to the format for the first time. That range means you can find something that fits your mood on any given day.

The Apple Watch International Dance Day Challenge
Here is where things get timely. Apple has an International Dance Day Challenge launching on April 29. To earn the award, Apple Watch owners need to complete a Dance workout of 20 minutes or more, recorded through the Workout app or any compatible app that writes data to Apple Health.
Peloton Dance Cardio qualifies. With 13 classes in the 20-to-30-minute range, you have plenty of options to hit that threshold while also getting a real workout in. If you have not yet connected your Apple Watch to Peloton, this guide walks you through the setup, and Peloton’s Apple Watch FAQ page covers compatibility and common questions. Just make sure the class you choose is logged properly to Apple Health to ensure the activity counts toward the challenge.

How to Find the Collection
There are two ways to find Peloton Dance Cardio. You can access the dedicated Dance Cardio collection, which pulls the curated classes together in one place, directly at this link. Or, if you want the full library, head to the Cardio category and filter by Dance Cardio to find all 64 classes available on demand.
The Peloton Dance Cardio collection is built around a simple idea: break it down and break a sweat, with heart-pumping classes from both instructors and dance superstars alike.
If you have been on the fence about trying it, International Dance Day is as good a reason as any to step in and give it a go.
