Bio

Rad Lopez, born Radichell, grew up in a Dominican household in the Bronx, raised by a single mother, and lost both his father and stepfather growing up. Before Peloton, he worked his way up through the fitness industry doing maintenance at a Bronx gym, went on to train at Equinox, and taught boxing and shadowboxing at Shadowbox NYC. He joined Peloton in 2021 as one of the platform’s first strength-focused instructors.

He teaches in both English and Spanish and is one of the coaches behind the Iconos Latinos collection, a series of Spanish-language classes celebrating Latino culture on the platform. He’s also a Nike-sponsored athlete and competitive marathoner, having run both the Chicago and New York City Marathons. In June 2026, Peloton marked his five-year anniversary with Rad’s Greatest Hits, a curated 49-class collection spanning shadowboxing, strength, cardio, and his Artist Series lineup (Eminem, Bad Bunny, Pitbull, and others).
