Bio

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Hannah Corbin is one of Peloton’s founding instructors, joining the platform in 2014 after arriving in New York on a dance scholarship with Alvin Ailey and building a career as an off-Broadway performer, including runs in Fuerza Bruta and Queen of the Night. For her first two years at Peloton, she taught fitness classes while performing on stage six nights a week. She now teaches cycling, barre, Pilates, stretching, strength, and dance cardio, and is known across the platform for her signature question, “Did you stretch, though?”, a philosophy as much as a phrase.

Hannah has been open about her adoption story, raised by Caucasian parents while carrying pride in her Mexican and Puerto Rican heritage, and about living with an autoimmune disease that forced her to reevaluate how she spends her energy. In September 2023 she announced she was returning to auditions after nearly a decade away from the stage, a return that became increasingly visible: she danced with Ariana Grande at the 2024 Met Gala, was profiled by Dance Magazine, and in May 2026 performed in FATE, a one-act production blending storytelling, movement, and live rock music, at the New York Theatre Festival.

2026 has also been a big year for Hannah off the stage. Her debut book, Did You Stretch Tho, a guidebook and 52-card stretch deck published by Abrams Books in November 2025, hit number one new release in Amazon’s Exercise and Fitness category and won Best Stretching Guide in Oprah Daily’s Self-Care O-Wards 2026. Its supporting tour has stretched from a fall 2025 run through cities including New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston into a summer/fall 2026 leg adding Toronto, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Kauai. In June 2026, she also signed on as the face of Ricola’s new Mouthwatering Drops line, playing up her constantly-on-the-go persona.
