ICYMI: Peloton Dropped Two New German Split Training Programs

Back in early December 2023, Peloton launched two new German Split Training Programs. These programs were designed to cater to both beginners and intermediate users with the help of Assal Arian’s 5-day beginner split program and Cliff Dwenger’s 3-day intermediate split course.*

Split training, a workout technique designed to focus on specific muscle groups or body parts on alternating days or weeks, is one of the most popular and effective workout routines for those who are looking to increase overall strength, gain muscle mass, and improve overall body composition. Peloton’s latest offerings are no exception, providing users with an added advantage to maximize their workouts with well-crafted training programs.

5-day Split Training Program: The Perfect Fit for Beginners

Assal Arian’s  5-day Split Training Program, specifically tailored to cater to beginners, is an excellent starting point for those who are just getting into the world of split training. The program focuses on the most common strength movements and trains users on both strength and technique. With the help of this program, beginners can expect to gain an understanding of health and safety principles, knowledge about technique and, most importantly, form.

The program has a simple layout, with each day focusing on a specific muscle group. Day one targets your legs and core, day two shoulders and triceps, the third day is for legs and shoulders, with day four being a rest day. The program continues on with day five focusing on the upper body via pushing, and the final day (day 6) targeting the upper body via pulling. Day seven is again a day of rest. By the end of the week, you’re bound to notice a difference in your overall strength!

3-Day Split Course: Ready to Take the Next Step?

For intermediate users, Cliff Dwenger’s 3-day Split Program is the perfect fit. The program focuses on keeping the body active with full-body workout routines, targeting various muscle groups. With a specific focus on higher-intensity workouts, you can expect to push yourself to the next level.

This program is designed to be completed over three days, with 2 days of rest in between. Day one focuses on the upper body via pushing, day two on legs and core, and finally day three performing upper body pulling exercises.

Maximize Your Workouts

Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate user, each of the highly crafted split training programs can be the perfect way to maximize your workouts. With the ability to track progress over the course of three days or five, you are sure to enjoy the added incentive and motivation to push yourself to the next level. Get ready to gain strength, build muscle, and look your best with one of Peloton’s latest training program offerings!

*Note, these classes are both taught in German, but English-language captioning is available.
