Jess Sims Announces Do Hard Things, Live Sept. 21
Peloton instructor Jess Sims confirmed today that a new program called Do Hard Things is set to launch on September 21, sharing the news in an Instagram Reel. The caption read: “everything is hard. choose your hard. then choose it again & again. see ya 9.21.”
What We Know About Do Hard Things
In the Reel, Jess traced the progression of her programming from Saturday 60 to Sims 60, explaining that the format has centered on one idea throughout: community and doing hard things together. That framing carries directly into the name of the new release, positioning it as potentially the next stage in a lineage Sims has been building for years rather than a standalone launch.

Peloton has not released additional details on the program’s length, class count, or which disciplines will be included. The Instagram announcement and the September 21 date are, for now, the only confirmed specifics tied to the program.
A Bootcamp Class Is Already on the Schedule
However, if one were to scroll through the schedule, one would see that Peloton’s class schedule already lists a 45 minute class called Do Hard Things: Bootcamp for September 25, four days after the launch date. That listing suggests the program will include at least one bootcamp format and that it will drop live, giving members the option to take the class alongside Jess in real time before it moves to on demand.

A live bootcamp class fits the collaborative, in-the-room energy Sims described in her Reel, where she framed doing hard things as something members do together rather than alone. The September 25 listing is currently the clearest signal of how that idea will translate into actual class programming.
A Program Built Around the Peloton Community
The community angle running through the Reel is consistent with how Jess has talked about her class formats in the past. By tracing the line from Saturday 60 to Sims 60 and now to Do Hard Things, she framed each iteration as part of the same ongoing story rather than a reset. That continuity is part of what separates the new program from a typical launch: it reads less like a new product and more like the next chapter in a format Sims has spent years building with her class community.
Building on Jess Sims’ Program History
Do Hard Things will mark Jess’s first solo, dedicated training block since her 4-Day Split + Run Program launched on June 13, 2025. Earlier this year, she also contributed to the multi-instructor Road to Recovery: ACL program, lending her coaching to a collaborative release rather than a solo one.
If you’re looking for something to do ahead of the September 21 launch of Do Hard Things, her program catalog also includes a 3-Day Split Strength Program and Floor Bootcamp 1 and 2, both built around structured, repeatable formats members could follow week over week.
With the launch date set and one class already public, members will likely see more specifics in the days leading up to September 21, including whether Do Hard Things follows the same weekly structure Jess has used in her past split programs.
