DJ John Michael and Husband Brian King Survive Chaotic Burning Man Flood

The 2023 Burning Man festival in August was uncharacteristically chaotic due to heavy rain and flooding, causing attendees to get stuck in mud and leaving behind an unusually large amount of trash and abandoned vehicles. However, despite the challenging conditions, DJ John Michael and Brian King were able to make it out safely and reassured their fans with a post on Instagram.

The festival’s main road became impassable due to heavy rain, stranding people in the festival site known as Black Rock City. Some attendees walked out on foot, while others waited for the road to reopen. The festival’s main event, the burning of a towering human-like sculpture, was postponed twice before finally taking place on Monday night.
