Carnival Celebration Ride Returns to Peloton on Aug. 29
Hannah Frankson's annual Notting Hill-inspired class returns for another year on the schedule

Frankson has taught a version of the Carnival Celebration Ride every year since 2020, when Peloton introduced the class as a tribute to London's Notting Hill Carnival, built around soca and hip-hop music. On a recent episode of The Clip Out podcast, co-host Crystal O'Keefe noted that Frankson had confirmed she would teach the class again this year, with the airing landing around August 29, matching what now appears on the schedule. She has also carried the theme off the bike this year, leading a Carnival-themed run club at Peloton Studios London on August 19.

Past editions have doubled as costume moments for Frankson, who has appeared in feathered wings, sequined bodysuits, and Caribbean flag accessories during the Carnival Celebration Ride. Last year's Carnival week expanded into a two-part format, pairing Frankson's ride with a Carnival-themed Walk + Run led by Joslyn Thompson Rule, who made her first on-camera bike appearance as part of that class.
What to Expect From This Year's Carnival Celebration Ride
No details on music, costume, or format have been released for this year's Carnival Celebration Ride, and Frankson has not yet posted about it on social media. Given her history with the format, a similar production is a reasonable expectation, but nothing beyond the schedule listing is confirmed at this time.
The August 29 encore currently marks the only confirmed way for members to catch the Carnival Celebration Ride, since no original airing has yet appeared in the library. Whether it eventually drops elsewhere in the schedule remains to be seen. Whatever the release path, expect Frankson to bring the same energy that has made this ride a late-summer staple. It will be a party, that much is certain.
