Backstreet Boys Artist Series Returns to Peloton August 13
Running, rowing, strength, cycling, and yoga classes arrive Thursday as Peloton’s Boy Band Week Challenge continues.

The Backstreet Boys Artist Series returns to Peloton on Thursday, August 13, with eight classes spanning running, rowing, strength training, cycling, and yoga. The drop lands in the middle of Peloton’s Boy Band Week Challenge, giving members another way to chase this week’s badge while revisiting a catalog that already runs deep across the platform’s library.

More than 600 classes on Peloton currently feature a Backstreet Boys song somewhere in the playlist, a number that shows just how often the group’s music shows up across formats even outside a dedicated Artist Series. Thursday’s release adds eight more classes built specifically around their catalog.

The lineup covers five formats across three markets, giving members in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia a class window that lines up with their own schedule. Members looking to fold this Backstreet Boys Artist Series stop into their Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge badge count have eight fresh entries to pull from on a single day.
The Backstreet Boys’ Staying Power
The Backstreet Boys formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1993. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson have kept the lineup largely intact for more than three decades, an unusually long run for a group in this genre. They’ve sold over 100 million records worldwide, a total that still makes them the best selling boy band in history.
Their staying power shows up in the numbers too. The group’s 2019 album DNA debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, nearly twenty years after their last chart topping release. That kind of run helps explain why a Backstreet Boys Artist Series still draws attention on a platform built around new music discovery as much as nostalgia.
A Return From a Cancelled Series
This Backstreet Boys Artist Series almost didn’t happen. Peloton originally scheduled a Backstreet Boys Artist Series for April 23, then pulled the planned classes at the last minute and replaced them with standard programming. The Clip Out reached out to Peloton at the time, and the company attributed the cancellation to a shift in programming and scheduling, without elaborating further.
Thursday marks the group’s first live series since that cancellation, and it brings back the same three instructors who had been on the original April schedule. Mariana Fernández, Camila Ramón, and Ally Love were all attached to the cancelled classes, and all three appear on this week’s Backstreet Boys Artist Series lineup. We covered the buildup to this return in more detail here, including why the August timing lines up with the band’s current touring schedule.
Backstreet Boys Artist Series Ties Into Boy Band Week
This release also rounds out a packed stretch for the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge, which runs August 10 through 15. Jodeci opened the week Monday with three classes, and the NSYNC Artist Series followed Tuesday with six classes across running, rowing, pilates, strength, and cycling. Wednesday added a run of Boy Band Mixtape classes to the mix before the Backstreet Boys Artist Series takes the Thursday slot.
That puts the Backstreet Boys Artist Series right in the thick of a lineup that has been building steadily all week, with several formats and instructors giving members plenty of ways to reach whichever badge tier they’re chasing before the Peloton Boy Band Week Challenge closes on August 15.

With more than 600 classes already carrying their music, and eight more added specifically under the Backstreet Boys Artist Series banner this week, the group’s catalog remains a steady presence across Peloton’s class library, one that keeps giving members new entry points long after any single Artist Series wraps.
