Tunde Oyeneyin Ignites the Powerful Breathe & Believe New York Experience
On June 24, 2026, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge became the setting for something truly special. The Breathe & Believe NY Experience brought together a community of women ready to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves, and it did so with one of the most compelling voices in wellness today front and center: Tunde Oyeneyin.
If you were lucky enough to secure a ticket before they sold out, you already know. But even if you missed this one, you need to know about this platform, this woman, and why this pairing was so perfectly aligned it almost felt scripted.
What Is Breathe & Believe Global?
Breathe & Believe stands as your sanctuary, a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your true self. Rooted in Eve Jihan Cooper’s personal journey from pain to deep healing and authentic joy, Breathe & Believe inspires you to move beyond self-doubt and reignite your inner belief.
The platform was founded by someone who understands what it means to reinvent yourself in a very public way. Eve is a GRAMMY Award-winning artist, author, and cultural voice whose career has spanned music, television, film, and media. After decades in the public eye, including global hits and a GRAMMY win, she has entered a new chapter focused on wellbeing, reflection, and personal growth. Inspired by a mantra she has lived by for years, Eve founded Breathe & Believe, a platform dedicated to creating spaces where people can pause, reconnect, and move through life with greater presence and intention. Through curated experiences, conversations, and shared moments, Breathe & Believe invites people to slow down, breathe deeply, and trust in their own path forward.
The platform believes in creating experiences, communities, and transformations that leave a lasting impact on your spirit, soul, and life. The intentions that guide every event are rooted in themes of sensory connection, wholeness, culture, rewiring old patterns, and real impact. This is not a brunch with a motivational speaker. This is an immersive gathering designed to move something in you.
The New York experience was the brand’s second major event, following a sold-out London debut at 1 Hotel Mayfair in May 2026. The New York gathering took place at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge on Wednesday, June 24th – doors opened at 6:30pm and the experience ran from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Why Tunde Oyeneyin Is the Perfect Breathe & Believe Guest
When you think about what Breathe & Believe is trying to do, the choice of Tunde Oyeneyin as the featured guest makes complete and utter sense. This is a woman who has built her entire public presence around the idea that showing up for yourself, even when it is terrifying, is the most powerful thing you can do.
The event’s Instagram post described her as someone “known for her powerful storytelling, honesty, and ability to inspire people to keep showing up for themselves,” calling her “a voice for resilience, self-belief, and personal growth for millions around the world.” The conversation was designed to explore what it means to trust yourself, stay connected to who you are through life’s challenges, and find the courage to keep moving toward the person you are becoming.
That is not a generic wellness talking point. That is Tunde’s lived story.
The 40-year-old multi-hyphenate creative has lived an abundant life in her four decades, which includes sculpting an enviable body from grit, alchemizing grief after losing her brother, father, and mother a few years apart, and building a commendable career by embracing the uncomfortable. She went from makeup artist to Peloton instructor to New York Times bestselling author to actress, not by following a conventional path, but by repeatedly saying yes to things that scared her. That kind of story resonates in a room full of women who are trying to figure out who they are becoming next.
Her SPEAK framework, which she developed and trademarked, stands for Surrender, Power, Empathy, Authenticity, and Knowledge. The movement is all about motivation and self-acceptance. Her goal is to reach anyone looking to make positive changes in their lives. That mission and Breathe & Believe’s mission are not just complementary. They are almost identical.
Everything Tunde Has Been Up To Lately
If you have not been following Tunde closely, you may not realize just how much runway she has built in the past year. She is not just a Peloton instructor anymore. She is a brand, a movement, and increasingly, a cultural force.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
Tunde Oyeneyin is a superstar in the world of fitness and lifestyle content. Her trademark class with Peloton is a top performer on the platform, and she was the first fitness instructor to be named a Nike Athlete. In 2025, she entered an entirely new arena when she became a finalist in the Sports Illustrated Swim Search, an open casting call to find new faces and fresh perspectives for the magazine. As one of six finalists, she walked the SI Swimsuit Runway during Swim Week in May, and she looked like a complete natural on the catwalk.
The experience of walking that runway did something real for her. She says that after putting herself out there on the catwalk, she was showing up in her day-to-day life with more confidence. She was candid about the fact that she grew up covering her body at the pool, wearing a baggy T-shirt over her swimsuit, too self-conscious to be seen. Then she strutted down the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway in front of the world. After the fact, she admitted that walking the runway earlier that summer gave her a boost of confidence in her everyday life: “Once you strut down a Sports Illustrated [Swimsuit] runway in front of the entire world, I don’t know that there’s physically any limitations that exist anymore.”
Following her win, Tunde secured a spot in the 2026 issue, trekking to New York to join the magazine and photographer Ben Watts in Montauk for her debut feature. The 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which dropped in May 2026, marks her first official appearance in the magazine as a rookie. The full-circle nature of that arc, from the girl hiding under a T-shirt to a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit supermodel, is exactly the kind of story that a Breathe & Believe audience is going to hold onto.
Tyler Perry’s Sistas
If that was not enough, Tunde kicked off 2026 by joining the cast of one of BET’s biggest shows. She landed her biggest acting role to date, joining the cast of Tyler Perry’s Sistas as a series regular for the show’s tenth season on BET. She plays Madison Truitt, a powerful, self-assured entrepreneur whose commanding presence and unapologetic ambition have carved her a space in a male-dominated world. Beneath her polished exterior lies a yearning for love and partnership.
She did not stumble into the role. It came from a decision she made to start taking acting lessons. Almost exactly two years later, she landed the call that she had booked the role on Tyler Perry’s Sistas. She tried something she had never done before, committed to it quietly, and then made it happen. That is the very definition of showing up for yourself.
The Tunde x Peloton Collection
May 2026 brought yet another milestone when Tunde launched her first-ever co-designed apparel line with Peloton. The Tunde x Peloton collection includes statement bras and tops designed to accentuate the back and neckline, sculpting leggings and shorts with “booty-pop” seam detailing, and zippered dresses in mini and maxi silhouettes. There is also a leopard print capsule and a menswear section.
This marks the first time Peloton has ever offered swimwear. That inclusion was intentional. Her Sports Illustrated journey directly inspired it. The collection is bold, the color palette vivid, and the sizing inclusive at XS through 3X. But more than the clothes themselves, it is what the collection represents. She has described it as “a love letter to my younger self,” the girl who did everything she could to move through the world invisibly.
In the message accompanying the launch, she wrote: “Made for every version of you. The one who felt sexy. The one who felt insecure. The one who felt lost. The one who felt unstoppable. This is what showing up for yourself looks like.”
That message could have been lifted directly from a Breathe & Believe event.
What the Breathe & Believe NY Experience Delivered
The event offered wisdom, warmth, honesty, and “the kind of conversation that stays with you long after you leave the room.” With Tunde on stage, delivering on that promise was never in doubt. She does not speak to audiences. She speaks with them. Her storytelling is generous, her honesty is disarming, and her energy has a way of making every person in the room feel like the conversation was meant specifically for them.
If you were one of the people who made it to 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge that evening, you walked away with more than a good night out. You walked away with something to sit with, something to act on, and maybe something that shifted just a little inside of you.
That is exactly what Breathe & Believe Global is building. And Tunde is exactly the kind of voice that helps them build it.
