Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite, but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Peloton Upper Body Strength
11/2/23 30 min 1989(Taylor’s Version) Upper Body with Callie Gullickson
TCO Helper Bee and writer Tina Fielding Fryling’s favorite class this week comes from the Taylor Swift collection.
“I loved the 30 minute 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Upper Body class from 11/2/2023,” she said. “Of course the music was perfect to sing along to, which made time go faster, and only Callie could make burning out your arms and shoulders seem so light and fun! My arms were still sore two days later.”
The class playlist includes nine songs from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), including Blank Space, Bad Blood, and Wildest Dreams. The class plan is a very well-rounded mix of chest and shoulder presses, curls, rows, and raises. If you’ve been considering moving from shorter upper body classes to a full 30, this might be your sign to go for it!
2. Favorite Peloton Core Strength
11/19/23 5 min Core Strength with Emma Lovewell
Becky Kithcart Gomez found a remake of an old favorite for this week’s new favorite!
“Emma’s 5 minute core from 11/19/23 was a remake of one of my favorites from several years ago,” she said. “The entire class is on your back so no planks but is definitely a burner! And she used the same music too! (OPP by Naughty by Nature).”
Every move in this class is on your back and lasts for about 30 seconds—super simple, but a burner nonetheless—plus Emma works some bonus micro dance moves in there, and we think you might too! In addition to O.P.P. by Naughty by Nature, the playlist includes Headlines by Drake. Emma says this class is safe to take daily, so keep adding this to your stack for some daily core love.
3. Favorite Peloton Yoga
11/20/23 30 min The Chelsea Set: Own Your Power with Chelsea Jackson Roberts
TCO listener #ImNotSpicy’s favorite class this week was from Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts’ new signature series, The Chelsea Set. They shared a little bit about the special part this series has played in their journey as a beginning yoga student:
“I’ve been taking The Chelsea Set yoga series each week. As a beginner in yoga, her series has been something I look forward to. The music, the vibes, the practice (and building on it) really does build confidence. I find her so positive, motivating and inspiring!”
This class is week three of the Chelsea Set and is again the same sequence as weeks one and two, but this week’s cues focus on owning your power—seeing where the strength and confidence of your new foundation can take you.
The music is powerful with a live DJ spinning tracks from KAYTRANADA, Nina Simone, Beyoncé, and Outkast. And the vibe in the studio is strong and connected.
We love a yoga journey, especially one led by Chelsea (TCO Helper Bee and writer Lindsey Kelly’s shares her own story here), so ImNotSpicy’s story really gives us all the happy feels.
4. Favorite Peloton Ride
11/23/23 45 min Turkey Burn Ride with Robin Arzón
This year’s Turkey Burn classes were historic, and for some maybe even a little infamous. But for listener Sarah Lester, Robin’s Turkey Burn Ride marked an interesting and positive shift in how she relates to the instructor.
She shares, “I really loved the turkey burn ride. I don’t usually ride with Robin because I usually don’t connect with her. However her sharing the struggle to come back from kid #2 helped me to connect with her better. Will be trying some more of her rides going forward.”
We always say that not every instructor is every member’s favorite, and for good reason—we are all different! And as we grow and change, so do Peloton’s instructors. Sarah’s story shows how sometimes another try really is worth it—with an instructor, a workout, or maybe even that heavier resistance or dumbbell.

5. Favorite Peloton Unstackable Run
11/15/23 30 min HIIT & Hills Run with Matt Wilpers
Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.
For this week’s Unstackable recommendation, we heard from Runridegirl.
“Matt Wilpers’ hiit and hills run from 11/15! Holy cow, I was not ready for that. Not only were the hiit portions hard, you ran, RAN the hills! But…. A great class if you’re training for a race. I’ll keep this one in my back pocket (DEEP in the pocket) to take again when I’m officially training again. Great class!”
This class alternates between 3-minute uphill runs and 5 30-second fast running intervals. The sequence repeats twice and then finishes with a third 3-minute uphill run.
This might sound brutal, but the music will definitely take some of the edge off (or maybe help you find a new one??)—it’s mostly electronic dance music and features artists like Sofi Tukker, Skrillex, and Sam Smith with Kim Petras.
If you’re training for a race or just want to show yourself what you’ve got, give this class a try and tell us how it goes! We love hearing about our listeners’ experiences, especially on the Unstackables!
Thank you!
