Fun Super Burn Classes Held February 8
Fun Super Burn Classes Held February 8
Peloton offered members a special collection of themed workouts with its Super Burn series, scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026 in honor of the Superbowl. This event featured a multi-instructor strength class and a lineup of live cardio sessions designed to provide a challenging and rewarding fitness experience. Participants also had the chance to earn an exclusive badge for their efforts. Hot on the heels of their successful Turkey Burn classes, which get just a little bigger and better each year, Peloton capitalized on members’ love of coming together for live programming. In fact, Logan noted in his class that this was “the first annual” Super Burn, and we hope he’s right!

The Tailgate: A Super Burn Team-Up
The day began with the 45-minute “The Tailgate: Full Body Strength” class at 7:30 AM ET, with 4.4K members live on the leaderboard. This intermediate-level workout brought together a team of six popular instructors: Adrian Williams, Camila Ramón, Katie Wang, Logan Aldridge, Tunde Oyeneyin, and Zacharias Niedzweicki. Here’s our “color commentary” on this class.
If you liked The Feast, then you’ll love this high-energy chat fest. It’s fast paced and the music was on point. In fact, they noted Katie was solely responsible for this playlist. Combining stadium anthems like Thunderstruck and Pump It, with Superbowl themed music from artists Bad Bunny, Green Day, Kendrick Lamar, and Beyonce, Katie did a great job keeping the energy high during a tough workout.
Tailgate Class Review
Similar to the other multi-instructor Strength classes, this one featured 7 minute AMRAPS. Here, they broke the class into “4 quarters” like a football game. They also added a “halftime show” and a “tiebreaker” section just to make sure we really left it all on the field… or, mat. Yes, there was no shortage of football lingo, and if you don’t like that kind of chatter, you may want to take a time out from this class (see what I did there?).
First Quarter: Lower Body
- Squat Thrust
- Split Squat
- Dumbbell Single Leg Deadlift
- Dumbbell Squat
Second Quarter: Core
- Dead Bug
- Butterfly Sit Up
- Single Leg V-Up
- Superhuman
Halftime:
Forearm Plank + Burpees
Third Quarter: Upper Body
- Dumbbell Push Up
- Gorilla Row
- Overhead Press
- Cross Body Bicep Curl
Fourth Quarter: Conditioning
- Snatch
- Dumbbell Swing Clean
- Dumbbell Thruster
- Renegade Row
Tiebreaker:
Devil’s Press

Takeaways from the Tailgate
The Game Plan
Generally I find these multi-instructor classes to be too quick for me, and I’m not a huge fan of AMRAP classes, so I know I am coming for the vibes. And this was a vibe for sure! Logan did a great job initially leading things off and acting as a “coach.” Camila also held that role later on. As in previous iterations of this format, the instructors were highlighted 2 at a time on the podium while flanked by 2 of the others on each side, then they jumped in and out of lead positions in different sections of the class.

Most notably to me was the welcome addition of Zacharias. I’m a big fan of his, and a beginner kettlebell user, so I was excited that his role in this class was to do almost everything with kettlebells. Though there was not a lot of instruction (for any of the moves, some basic experience was assumed) it was interesting to see all of his modifications.
I’d Bring These Instructors to Any Event
In the banter sections, which you may recall from past Feasts, the instructors ask each other a question and sometimes the answers are funny. The first question was, “what do you bring to a tailgate?” It seemed like Tunde (who answered first) wasn’t prepped with that question because she gave an answer about her energy, then seemed surprised when Adrian said, “beer.” Other answers were food and drink related, but I appreciated that Katie said “the best parking spot” because her dad taught her right. They also asked each other who amongst all of the Peloton instructors is their “quarterback.” They all decided that Jenn was a shoo-in as she is such a football fanatic. They also said Andy, as he is the leader of The Feast, and they all acknowledged his leadership on the Strength team (and I definitely would vote twice for him!).
Overall, to me, the whole class felt like a fun group workout IRL. Not the best form, or the most reps, but more of a hangout. And that’s exactly what Katie and Camila noted. The said how that when they post IG videos of their gym workouts together, they get lots of messages from members saying they wish they could join the fun. So in programming this class, I’d say they reached their “goal.”

Other Super Burn Classes
Following “The Tailgate,” Peloton scheduled a series of live themed cardio classes across different disciplines. Members could choose from running, cycling, and rowing to continue their workout. You can now find these On Demand in this Collection.
The schedule for the additional classes was:
- 9:00 AM ET: 30 min Run with Hannah Frankson
- 10:00 AM ET: 45 min Ride with Ally Love
- 11:00 AM ET: 20 min Row with Matt Wilpers
A 10-minute Super Burn Meditation with Chelsea Jackson Roberts was also available On Demand, providing a way to cool down and reflect after the workouts.
A cute detail for the whole day was that all instructors teaching this theme sported custom jerseys with nicknames on the back… of course, Matt was The Professor! Thumbs up to the creative team for this special touch.
Fellow Helper Bees here at The Clip Out shared that the Run with Hannah was lots of fun, especially as she continues to learn more about American football and the lingo. AND she was teaching from PSNY which made it extra special. The class was tough, with the first part being hills and intervals. Pacing ranged from moderate to progression to challenging, with recoveries. The structure held together well. Ally’s ride was also not easy, but she made it fun for the live members (over 8K!) with some signature dance moves in pre-show. And Matt’s Row, no rest for the weary! A structure moving from moderate to challenging made this a hard class for sure!
Comparing Super Burn to Turkey Burn
Peloton’s Super Burn event echoed the spirit of its well-known Turkey Burn classes, emphasizing community engagement and themed group workouts. Both events brought together multiple instructors and offered a variety of class types, encouraging members to participate in a shared fitness experience. Like Turkey Burn, which has become a staple for bringing members together around key moments in the calendar, Super Burn leveraged the excitement of a major sports weekend to foster connection and motivation across the platform and the country.

Did You Earn the Super Burn Badge?
The Super Burn badge was meant to be available only to members who participated on February 8, 2026. To receive the Gold level badge, participants needed to complete both “The Tailgate: Full Body Strength” and at least one Super Burn cardio class (Run, Ride, or Row) on that day only (February 8). We noticed some discrepancies as we participated here at The Clip Out in various classes throughout the day. For example, I only completed The Tailgate and while I did not reach Gold in the Challenge, I did get a green football badge which was a nice surprise. But others simply got 2 green footballs, at least for now. This is not the first time that Peloton’s badge rollout got “fumbled” (sorry!) but we expect them to “complete” the play soon. OK, puns are done!
