Sam Yo Book Tour: Exclusive Details on What to Expect
Sam Yo Reveals What His Book Tour Events Will Actually Feel Like
Time for the Sam Yo Book Tour and The Clip Out has exclusive details on what he’s building for his upcoming tour stops — and it goes well beyond a standard book signing.
Sam Yo’s debut book, The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving, released on May 19. The official Sam Yo tour begins May 24 in San Francisco. And for the first time, Sam has shared with The Clip Out exactly what he is building for the people who show up.
If you have been on the fence about grabbing a ticket, this is the piece to read.

What Sam Told The Clip Out About the Tour
Sam described the tour events in detail, and the format he is putting together is not a book signing with a microphone. Think part mindfulness experience, part conversation, part mini TED Talk — something designed to leave you with more than a signed copy.
“Not just an interview,” Sam told TCO. “Something deeper.”
VIP ticket holders will get a dedicated meet and greet — real time with Sam to connect, talk, and have their books personalized. Beyond the VIP experience, Sam said he is actively building ways to engage with more people throughout the evening, so the connection does not stay confined to one tier of the ticket.
Each stop will include a guest moderator, audience Q&A, and what Sam called “a few special moments” woven into the show. The through line across all of it is intentional: he wants people to leave feeling genuinely connected — to themselves, to each other, and to something that carries beyond the room.
“It’s going to be a really special night,” Sam said. “Very excited as it’s the first and maybe only time I get to share space with people who have supported me since my time at Peloton.”
Don’t miss his first tour event moderator: Peloton’s own Christine D’Ercole! Now, that will be some conversation!Â

A Preview Already Happened at PSNY
Members who attended the May 17 event at Peloton Studios New York already got a glimpse of what Sam is building. The evening, moderated by Peloton instructor Denis Morton (who also hosted Sam staying at his apartment!), included a fireside chat, audience Q&A, and a set of mindfulness practices attendees could take home. As TCO reported ahead of that event, spots were limited and RSVP was required.

One moment from the night captured the spirit of what the full tour is aiming for. Peloton Studios posted video of the Ripple Jar — attendees had written down small acts of kindness, connection, or compassion on slips of paper, and Sam opened them during the event. Â
That is the register he is going for across the full tour: participatory, present, and personal.
The Road to May 24: A Busy Pre-Launch Week
The PSNY event capped a stretch of pre-publication appearances that took Sam well outside the Peloton world. On May 13, he spoke at the 2026 WWD Beauty CEO Summit in Palm Beach, Florida with Women’s Wear Daily, who posted photos on their IG. Sam was one of many notable industry speakers, and he spoke about his journey and led the audience through breathwork.Â

Before that, on May 16, he signed books at Bookends in Ridgewood, New Jersey, the independent bookstore stop that opened the pre-launch run. And on May 20, he headed to Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York City for a ticketed signing — one day after the book’s official release. As TCO reported, tickets included one copy of The Monk’s Mindset and a spot in the personalized signing line.

The Official Tour Dates
The Sam Yo book tour officially launches May 24 at Swedish American Hall in San Francisco and continues through the end of the month:
- May 24 — Swedish American Hall, San Francisco, CAÂ
- May 26 — Summit Music Hall, Denver, COÂ

- May 29 — The Howard Theatre, Washington, D.C.Â
- May 30 — Gramercy Theatre, New York, NYÂ

Sam framed the intention behind the tour in plain terms: “The evening is really about connection — stepping out of the noise for a moment, being present together, and remembering we’re not doing any of this alone.”
Tickets are available through Sam’s website. The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving is available now through Blackstone Publishing and on Amazon, where it has received an Editors’ Pick designation.

You can also catch Sam on an upcoming appearance on NBC that he shared on his IG!
