Peloton's New Rolling Hills Class Type Introduced

Peloton Introduces Rolling Hills Class Type

Peloton’s New Class Type Help Build Speed and Endurance

If you’ve been looking for a way to challenge yourself while improving both your speed and endurance, Peloton’s Rolling Hills Classes are the perfect fit. Designed for all fitness levels, these new cycling classes will take you through a series of uphill climbs and downhill recoveries, giving you an ideal balance of intensity and recovery. Not only do they elevate your cardiovascular fitness, but they also recreate the excitement of cycling through rolling terrain, all from the comfort of your home.

What Are Rolling Hills Classes?

Rolling Hills classes are the latest addition to Peloton’s cycling offerings. Each session takes you through hills that require bursts of power to climb, paired with downhill recoveries to catch your breath. This intentional combination builds stamina while keeping your legs and lungs working hard. To me, these sound like a perfect opportunity to take a class where you have a sense of the plan, and can manage your efforts accordingly, while also letting go a bit, mentally. Probably not as hard as HIIT and Hills, but enough structure to not feel loosey-goosey… I’m in!

Why You’ll Love This Class Type

Here’s why these classes stand out:

  • Interval-Based Workouts: The combination of climbs and descents is great for improving both endurance and speed.
  • Engaging Terrain Simulation: Feel like you’re out on a scenic ride, even if you’re in your own living room.
  • Variety for All Levels: Choose from classes of different durations to fit your training plan and fitness level.
