Peloton US Open Hudson Yards Activation Opens August 30
Peloton US Open Hudson Yards Opens Doors August 30
Peloton’s public tennis footprint at Hudson Yards runs through September 5, building on the Matt Wilpers programming already announced to members.
The Peloton US Open Hudson Yards activation opens to the public on August 30, giving New York City visitors and Peloton members a chance to experience the brand’s tennis partnership in person before the tournament reaches its final rounds. The rollout follows an August 25 email Peloton sent members outlining the next phase of a partnership already covered here at The Clip Out, including Matt Wilpers’ Train for Tennis program on the Peloton platform and the in-person Game, Set, Sweat conditioning class at Peloton Studios New York, which filled almost immediately after registration opened.
Peloton US Open Hudson Yards Experience Runs Through September 5
The US Open Experience at Hudson Yards opens daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., running Sunday, August 30, through Saturday, September 5. The setup positions Hudson Yards as an extension of the tournament for fans who are not headed to Flushing Meadows, with interactive tennis, live tournament viewing, games, photo opportunities, and merchandise built into the Main Plaza footprint. The Peloton US Open Hudson Yards activation sits inside that larger footprint, giving Peloton a presence among a broader slate of official tournament partners.

Where Peloton Fits Inside Partner Row
Peloton’s presence lives on what organizers are calling Partner Row, a lineup of “interactive experiences and product sampling” from official US Open partners. Peloton shares that space with La Roche-Posay, Heineken 0.0, Lavazza, and Polo Ralph Lauren, each running its own activation for the week. For Peloton, that means a branded footprint inside a high-traffic tourist and commuter destination, adding a retail-facing layer to the partnership.
What Else Is Happening at the US Open Experience
The broader Peloton US Open Hudson Yards footprint includes two Red Ball tennis courts outfitted with Wilson equipment, where visitors can pick up a racquet and try the sport themselves or join curated programming throughout the week. The Advantage Arena gaming zone lets guests play Roblox, Fortnite, Tennis Clash, and TIEBREAK, while a Player Tunnel Experience recreates the walk players take before stepping onto Arthur Ashe Stadium. A Champion Photo Experience gives fans the chance to pose as if they just won the tournament.
Dickinson’s Farm Stand serves the Grey Goose Honey Deuce, the US Open’s signature cocktail, and a live DJ runs Sunset Sessions each evening from 5 to 8 p.m. A 30-foot outdoor screen carries daily ESPN coverage of the tournament through the women’s and men’s finals, with some live ESPN broadcasting happening on-site. An official US Open Merchandise Store rounds out the footprint with tournament gear typically sold only at the grounds themselves.

Could Member Stories Show Up at Hudson Yards?
Peloton’s recent call for member stories, tied to the “Your Best Game Starts Here” campaign, asked members to share how Peloton has shaped their athletic performance for a chance to be featured across the brand’s channels. Given the scale of the Hudson Yards footprint and Peloton’s history of turning member submissions into physical activations, such as displaying Boston Marathon runners’ Leaderboard names on the iconic John Hancock building, it is worth watching whether any of those submissions surface at the US Open Experience itself.
Whether on a screen, in social content tied to the space, or in some other on-site form, we wonder what might be in store. Nothing announced so far confirms that member stories will appear at Hudson Yards, but the timing of the callout lines up closely enough with the activation window to raise the question.
The activation gives Peloton a second entry point into the tournament beyond its member-facing programming, reaching fans who may never have opened the Peloton app but are willing to pick up a racquet at Hudson Yards. Members watching for the next update should keep an eye on Peloton Studios New York, where the partnership’s watch party programming continues alongside the Hudson Yards run.
