Peloton Tread+ Vision Reveals Sled Mode at $6,695

Peloton Tread+ Vision pairs a slat-belt deck with Sled Mode, a HYROX-style resistance feature built for competitive training.

Peloton Tread+ Vision sits at the top of the company’s new treadmill lineup at $6,695, and it targets a different member than Tread Flex or Tread Vision. Peloton announced all three models on September 22, 2026. Where Tread Flex focuses on space savings and Tread Vision on everyday variety, this one is aimed at high-mileage runners and HYROX competitors who need a deck that can take real training volume.

Slat-Belt Deck Sets Peloton Tread+ Vision Apart

The slat-belt deck is the core of that pitch. Rubberized slats ride on a ball-bearing system designed for energy return, a different construction than the single-belt decks on Tread Flex and Tread Vision. Peloton pairs that deck with every feature on Tread Vision, including the 23.8-inch swivel touchscreen that supports strength, Pilates and meditation classes off the belt, Sonos-tuned speakers, an integrated cooling fan, the movement-tracking camera, jump buttons and Run Analysis, which scores running efficiency from cadence, vertical oscillation and stride length. It then adds two features exclusive to Tread+ hardware, with Sled Mode the more distinctive of the two.

Sled Mode Brings HYROX Training to the Tread

Sled Mode adds software-controlled resistance against the slat belt, ranging from 30 to 300 pounds. It emulates the sled push movement used in HYROX competition and cross-training. Members activate it through a Free Mode button, then use an adjuster to set the resistance. The belt is driven entirely by the member’s own stride rather than a motor.

Peloton built dedicated instructed classes for Sled Mode and also made the feature available inside Just Run sessions. On Peloton Tread+ Vision, the resistance range mirrors typical HYROX sled push weights, giving members a way to train that specific movement without separate equipment.

Sled Mode is exclusive to Tread+ hardware, including this model and Peloton’s prior Tread+ models, but it isn’t available on Tread Flex or Tread Vision.

Peloton has built out HYROX-specific content before this launch, and Sled Mode extends the HYROX partnership from programming into hardware. It is a narrower use case than Run Analysis or IQ Pace Targets, but it addresses a specific training gap for competitive members who train at home.

Free Mode and High-Mileage Durability

Peloton Tread+ Vision also includes Free Mode more broadly, letting the belt respond to a member’s own stride rather than a fixed motor speed. The format is built for interval work and natural pacing changes. Combined with the ball-bearing slat-belt deck, Peloton positions the treadmill for members logging enough weekly mileage that deck durability and impact protection become the deciding factors, not price or floor space.

The deck also adds new cushioning with dampeners, layered on top of the slat-belt construction rather than replacing it. Incline on this model goes up to 15%. Peloton’s own materials describe the target user as performance runners, endurance athletes and HYROX competitors, not casual walkers or hikers. That is a smaller audience than the mixed-household pitch behind Tread Vision.

Peloton Tread+ Vision Price and Availability

As the Cross Training Series treadmills phase out, Peloton Tread+ Vision goes on sale October 1, 2026, in the US at $6,695 and in Canada at $8,395, alongside Tread Flex and Tread Vision in both countries. Tread Vision also launches in the UK, Germany and Austria on October 1 and in Australia on October 2, but the initial release of this model is limited to the US and Canada. Peloton Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell said the new Tread lineup pairs the hardware with the evolving intelligence of Peloton IQ, so each model works as a personalized training partner.

At $6,695, Peloton Tread+ Vision costs more than triple the $2,195 starting price of Tread Flex, a clear statement about where Peloton sees its highest-value customer: not the member deciding whether to buy a treadmill at all, but the one already training seriously enough to need a machine built for it.
