Peloton Tread Vision Launches Oct. 1 at $3,495
Meet Peloton Tread Vision, the mid-tier treadmill in Peloton’s expanded lineup that adds a movement-tracking camera that powers Run Analysis, plus a 23.8-inch touchscreen and replaces the standard Cross Training Tread as the new mid-tier option. Its also the first Tread to add a movement-tracking camera outside the Tread+ line. Priced at $3,495 in the US, it goes on sale October 1 for members who are looking for more than Tread Flex’s space-saving basics but aren’t ready to step up to Tread+ Vision’s performance features.

Peloton Tread Vision Run Analysis
The movement-tracking camera, part of the touch-screen unit, powers Peloton’s new Run Analysis, a Peloton IQ feature that provides AI-powered running form analysis and feedback. During Run Analysis runners will have their cadence, vertical oscillation, stride length, and vertical ratio measured. After each workout, members receive a Running Efficiency Score from 1 to 100, based on cadence, vertical oscillation, and stride length, plus personalized, actionable tips to help them run more efficiently.

Run Analysis requires a one-time camera calibration prior to use, and the camera runs silently in the background with no live display shown to the member. No video data is stored during this calibration, nor during any Run Analysis. Additionally, Run Analysis is not available in Bootcamp, Warm Up, Cool Down, or ReRun workouts. In addition to the Peloton Tread Vision, the Run Analysis feature will also be available on Tread+ Vision, and Cross Training Tread+ hardware, as well as any other Peloton treadmill with hardware that can support the feature.
Hardware Upgrades and Design Changes
Peloton Tread Vision adds a 23.8-inch HD touchscreen paired with Sonos-tuned speakers and an integrated cooling fan, and every Tread in the new lineup keeps the swivel screen for moving between Tread workouts and floor-based strength, yoga, or stretching classes.
New Jump Buttons on Peloton Tread Vision let members tap once to jump to the next or previous whole speed or incline number without breaking stride, replacing the press-and-hold adjustments on older Tread models. A redesigned storage tray holds phones and tablets and generously sized cup holders can hold larger than average water bottles. Joint health was also top-of-mind in this redesign. Members will find upgraded deck cushioning from the Cross Training Series tread, although it isn’t the same type of cushioning that has been built into the Tread+ Vision.
Software Features and Programs Across the Tread Lineup
In addition to the new Run Analysis feature, IQ Pace Targets analyzes a member’s recent running performance to recommend personalized pace ranges. Members will find that it activates after about 10 running workouts, adapts as fitness evolves. This feature requires Personalization to be enabled in order to use. On-screen Shortcuts align instructor cues to a member’s personalized targets with a one-tap speed or incline change.
ReRuns brings a member’s, and instructors’, outdoor routes straight to the treadmill. It syncs past outdoor runs and walks from the Peloton App or a connected smartwatch, and Auto-Incline follows real-world elevation profiles. Additionally, a pre-loaded route library is available for members who have not run outdoors. ReRuns also includes TCS New York City Marathon route segments, in partnership with New York Road Runners, and select past Peloton Run Club routes. In order to bring outdoor routes to their new Tread Vision, members will need to enable location services within their Peloton App.

Heart Rate Workouts are getting their moment, too. These are Zone 2 based, non-instructed sessions guided by heart rate rather than speed and incline, and Heart Rate Management lets members set age-based or custom max heart rate with configurable Zones 1 to 5.
All new software features require an All-Access Membership except Heart Rate Management, which is also available on App and App+ tiers.
Where Peloton Tread Vision Sits in the Lineup
Peloton Tread Vision is positioned for what the company calls mixed households, meaning walkers, joggers, runners, and strength trainers sharing one machine rather than a single dedicated athlete.
Tread Flex targets space-constrained members. It folds for about 50% floor space savings, and folded it is shorter than a Peloton Bike. Tread Flex also has caster wheels for tool-free mobility.
Tread+ Vision is built for high-mileage runners and HYROX-style training with a slat-belt deck and the new Sled Mode, which provides software-controlled resistance from 30 to 300 pounds, a range Peloton describes as comparable to HYROX sled push weights. Sled Mode is exclusive to Tread+ hardware.
Peloton Tread Vision is also the first Tread outside North America to ship with computer vision hardware. It launches in the UK, Germany, and Austria alongside the US and Canada release, a wider simultaneous international rollout than either Tread Flex or Tread+ Vision receives at launch.
