Peloton Tread Lineup Expands With 3 New Treadmills
The Peloton Tread lineup is rolling out three new models, led by Peloton’s first folding treadmill and a wave of AI coaching upgrades for runners, walkers, and hikers. The refreshed lineup will replace last year’s Cross Training Series redesign and spans three distinct price points, each running on Peloton IQ, the company’s AI-powered coaching platform. The launch also adds new training content, a HYROX-style resistance mode, and a first-time integration with WHOOP. Â

Tread Flex, Tread Vision, and Tread+ Vision will be available for purchase in the United States and Canada beginning October 1, 2026. Tread Vision will also be available in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria on October 1, 2026, and in Australia on October 2, 2026. Tread Flex arrives outside North America in spring 2027, with an autumn 2027 launch in Australia. Full product details are available at onepeloton.com.Â
“Expanding our treadmill portfolio will allow us to connect with a much wider audience,” said Peter Stern, Peloton’s CEO and President, pointing to record marathon turnouts and the rise of local run clubs as evidence that running, walking, and hiking are driving engagement across the platform.
Three Models Join the Peloton Tread Lineup
Tread Flex is the entry point and the most notable hardware launch in this release. It is Peloton’s first folding treadmill, compacting to roughly half its footprint on caster wheels. With a $2,195 USD/$2,995 CAD price tag, it is the lowest price Peloton has attached to a treadmill. A swivel screen gives members the ability to pivot between running and floor-based classes like strength and yoga without leaving the machine’s ecosystem.
Tread Vision, starting at $3,495 in the US and $4,395 in Canada, replaces the standard Peloton Tread with a 23.8-inch touchscreen, Sonos-tuned speakers, and a movement-tracking camera that powers the new Run Analysis feature. It also features a re-tooled belt with added cushioning, providing a more comfortable running and walking experience.Â
The third treadmill in the lineup, the Tread+ Vision, starts at $6,695 in the US and $8,395 in Canada and carries that same camera and screen over to a slat-belt deck built for high-mileage training. It also adds and exclusive Sled Mode and Free Mode.
Peloton Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell framed the release as a combination of hardware, software, and content: “The new Tread lineup is the clearest expression of that yet. Powered by the evolving intelligence of Peloton IQ, our hardware becomes a personalized training partner that meets Members where they are and then grows with them over time.”
Peloton IQ Software Expands for Runners
Peloton IQ launched last October as the company’s AI coaching system, and this release extends it deep into running-specific features across the Peloton Tread lineup. IQ Pace Targets sets personalized speed ranges for intervals based on a member’s recent workouts, activating after roughly ten running sessions once Personalization is turned on. Run Analysis, limited to Tread Vision and Tread+ hardware, scores running form on a 1-to-100 scale using cadence, vertical oscillation, and stride length, then offers practical tips after each workout meant to help runners improve performance.
Heart Rate Workouts add a Zone 2 training format guided by members’ individually connected heart rate monitors rather than set speed or incline. Heart Rate Management lets members configure custom heart rate zones across the Tread and the Peloton app, and it’s available even without an All-Access Membership on the App and App+ tiers. Most other new Peloton IQ features require All-Access Membership and activate October 1 alongside the hardware.
WHOOP Joins Peloton’s Wearable Ecosystem
Alongside the new treadmills, Peloton is adding WHOOP as a third-party integration, joining existing connections with Garmin, Apple Health, and Fitbit/Google Health. The partnership syncs data bidirectionally, so Peloton workouts feed into WHOOP’s recovery and strain metrics and WHOOP heart rate data flows back into Peloton. It’s the first new wearable partner Peloton has added since Peloton IQ launched, and it signals continued interest in meeting members on the platforms they already use to track training.
New Race Training Content and ReRuns
Peloton is backing the hardware and software with more than 17,000 Tread-specific classes and new Race Training Programs for 5K, 10K, and marathon preparation, built with the same structured progressions, speed work, and recovery days a running coach would design.Â
ReRuns lets members sync outdoor routes onto any Tread in the Peloton Tread lineup, with incline automatically adjusting to match real-world elevation. The feature includes preloaded segments from the TCS New York City Marathon, developed in partnership with New York Road Runners, along with past Peloton Run Club routes and Instructors’ favorite runs for members without outdoor routes of their own.
Pricing and Availability
Tread Flex, Tread Vision, and Tread+ Vision go on sale in the US and Canada on October 1. Tread Vision also launches that day in the UK, Germany, and Austria, with Australia following October 2. Tread Flex arrives in markets outside North America in spring 2027, and autumn in Australia.Â
Tread Flex’s $2,195 starting price marks the lowest entry point Peloton has offered for a treadmill, positioning the Peloton Tread lineup to compete for a segment of the market it hasn’t directly targeted before. Whether that price point pulls in members who previously saw Peloton hardware as out of reach may matter more to this launch’s success than any single software feature.Â
One thing is very clear: Peloton is treating running, walking and hiking as its own distinct growth category, not an add-on to cycling. That approach, paired with a lower-cost folding treadmill, gives the Peloton Tread lineup more entry points than it’s had before.Â
