Peloton Powers the Teach For America 35th Anniversary Summit

Jess Sims and Chelsea Jackson Roberts Bring Strength and Yoga to Las Vegas

Peloton is heading to Las Vegas this October as an official partner of the Teach For America 35th Anniversary Summit, bringing movement to one of the largest gatherings in the organization’s history.

The summit takes place October 2–3, drawing more than 10,000 alumni, corps members, partners, and community leaders together for the first national Teach For America gathering in nearly a decade. Peloton instructors Jess Sims and Chelsea Jackson Roberts will lead the movement programming, with Sims teaching a bodyweight strength session and Roberts leading yoga.

What Peloton Is Bringing to the Summit

Chelsea Jackson Roberts, who leads yoga on the Peloton platform, summed up the spirit of Peloton’s participation simply: she said she is excited to start each day with movement. That framing fits naturally with what the Teach For America summit is designed to do. The 35th Anniversary Summit is structured around three tracks: Leadership: Then, Now, and Next; Investing in What Works: Bright Spots and Bold Possibilities; and Reimagining Education: Now and For the Next Generation. Movement will anchor the mornings.

Jess Sims, who will lead the bodyweight strength session, put the mission directly: “We cannot wait to connect the Teach For America corps — the past, the present, and the future.” Sims is a 2010 Teach For America corps alum, which gives this Peloton partnership a personal dimension beyond the brand collaboration. Community, she noted, is at the heart of what Peloton brings, and she described being part of the Las Vegas summit as something the team is genuinely looking forward to.

About the Teach For America 35th Anniversary Summit

Teach For America began 35 years ago around a belief that every child deserves access to an excellent education. What started as a single idea has grown into a national network of nearly 70,000 alumni working in classrooms, schools, nonprofits, government, and communities across the country. The 35th Anniversary Summit represents the largest gathering in the organization’s history.

The summit brings together educators, leaders, and alumni who have been doing the work across generations. For Peloton, whose platform spans strength, yoga, meditation, running, and more, the alignment makes sense. Movement is both a personal practice and a communal one, and anchoring it at a milestone moment for the Teach For America community reflects how Peloton approaches partnerships.

This is not the first time Peloton and the education world have connected in a meaningful way. Sims, whose background includes her 2010 corps experience, carried that same energy into her Teacher Appreciation Tour, a four-city run that brought free fitness classes and community moments directly to educators across the country.
