Peloton Studios London Is Almost Back, and the Upgraded Studio Has a Packed Schedule Waiting

Last Updated: April 16, 2026By Tags:

If you’ve been missing live classes from Peloton Studios London this week, the wait is almost over. The studio’s spring closure runs through Friday, April 17, and PSL is set to return with upgraded lighting, video, and sound, plus a stretch of community events lined up almost immediately.

This isn’t just routine maintenance. Instructor Marcel confirmed on Instagram that the closure is being used for a real production overhaul, the kind of behind-the-scenes work that shapes how every class looks and feels, for members streaming from home as much as for those taking class in person.

What Peloton Studios London Is Getting Upgraded

According to Marcel’s Instagram post, Peloton Studios London is receiving a full AV refresh: upgraded lighting, video, and sound across the studio. That kind of investment touches every format the studio offers, from cycling and tread to strength, Pilates, yoga, and beyond.

Peloton hasn’t shared specific details beyond what Marcel posted, so the full picture of what’s changed won’t be clear until the cameras are back on and classes are rolling. But a lighting and sound overhaul at a production studio of this size is a meaningful upgrade, not a cosmetic one.

The Elemis Event Kicked Off the Week Before the Closure

Just before the studio went dark, Peloton Studios London partnered with skincare brand Elemis for a Pilates and wellness morning on Sunday, April 12. Three sessions ran at 10am, 11am, and 12pm, each pairing a 30-minute encore Pilates class with a 10-minute wellness ritual hosted by Elemis. The event was free and open to members and non-members alike.

It was a strong close to an active stretch at the studio and set the tone for the kind of community programming PSL has been building throughout spring 2026.

Did You Miss Live Classes? Here’s the Full Picture

The Peloton Studios London closure followed right behind Peloton Studios New York’s own spring maintenance window, which ran April 6-12. Peloton staggers the two closures intentionally so at least one studio remains available, but after two consecutive weeks of reduced live schedules, the return of PSL means the full live lineup is back.

If you leaned on the on-demand library during the closure, that’s exactly what it’s there for. Peloton’s catalog spans cycling, tread, strength, rowing, Pilates, yoga, meditation, stretching, mat-based cardio, and outdoor content. But live classes carry their own energy, and Saturday’s return is worth noting.

What’s Coming Right After Peloton Studios London Reopens

The studio moves straight into community programming on Saturday, April 19. PSL is hosting a free community taper run in partnership with Black Girls Do Run UK, a London-based running charity dedicated to inspiring Black women to start and keep running. The 8K route starts and ends at the Covent Garden studio, with locker rooms and showers available and 20% off at the PSL store next door. Registration is required at the Peloton Studios London booking site. Contact [email protected] with any questions.

That same day, PSL is hosting a free preview event for The Longevity Show, featuring a pre-recorded Pilates session and a fireside chat on fitness, wellbeing, and longevity with instructor Sam Yo. Spots for the fireside chat are still available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The London Marathon Weekend Is Right Around the Corner

The April 19 taper run lands exactly one week before the 2026 TCS London Marathon on April 26, and the timing is deliberate. From April 23 through April 28, Peloton Studios London is delivering a full marathon weekend experience: pre-race conversation, a 5K shakeout run with instructor Matt Wilpers led by local run club Asian Girls Run, on-course cheering at Mile 25, and post-race celebrations back at the studio including complimentary medal engraving.

Peloton Studios London is returning freshly upgraded and stepping directly into one of the busiest community stretches of its spring calendar.
