Peloton Seat Post Upgrade Free for Global Members

Last Updated: June 16, 2026By Tags: ,

A Peloton seat post upgrade is now available for its international members. Peloton is offering a complimentary seat post upgrade to members in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Australia who own the original Bike or Bike+. The free Peloton seat post upgrade to the Cross Training Series post is available beginning today, June 16, with emails going out to eligible members now.

This upgrade is not related to any government-directed recall. Peloton is offering the new post to ensure that all members have access to the latest hardware.

Who Is Eligible

The upgrade is open to international members in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Australia who own the original Peloton Bike with a PL-21 model number or a Bike+ that was manufactured before 2024. US and Canadian members are not included because they already had the opportunity to upgrade their seat posts in a previous offering.

Peloton Seat Post Upgrade, International members are eligible

International members are now eligible for a free Peloton bike seat post upgrade to the Cross Training Series seat post.

How to Order Your Peloton Bike Seat Post Upgrade

Members who receive the notification email can begin ordering today. Shipping starts in July, and delivery timelines vary by market, ranging from 8 to 12 weeks. Members will receive a confirmation email from us when you place your order, and another email when your order ships.

To claim the upgrade, members will need to visit the dedicated member support page and enter their bike’s serial number. Installation instructions are included with the replacement seat post, and members who prefer a technician visit can call Peloton Customer Service for their respective country (Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm; Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 6pm).

How to Find Your Serial Number

The serial number on the Peloton Bike and Bike+ is a 15-digit code. Here’s where to look:

On the left-hand side of the front fork or stabilizer near the flywheel, or behind the front fork facing the back of the bike. The number is located near the bottom of the frame on the left-facing side.

Click here to access the portal to initiate your Peloton seat post upgrade for the Bike, and here to access the portal for Bike+.  Note: these are links to the UK checkout page.  For those outside of the UK, you will be prompted to select your country of preference once you open the link.
