Class Pick of the Week: The Peloton Scenic 5K

From a New York Road Runners Run to International Pilates Day, Here Is What Is on the Schedule This Week

Our pick this week is the 30-minute NYRR Mindful 5K Run, a collaboration between Peloton and New York Road Runners. It drops on demand on Wednesday, April 29 at 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST. Once it is live, you can take it any time that works for you.

New York Road Runners is the New York City-based nonprofit that serves nearly 700,000 runners annually through races, open runs, and training programs. Their NYRR Mindful 5K was launched in 2024 with a focus on the mental health benefits of running and movement, built to welcome all ability levels and paces. The class features the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, so expect some classic New York scenery on your Tread.

Rad teaches a 45-minute Bike Bootcamp, pairing cycling intervals with off-bike strength work. A solid mid-week option if you want cardio and strength covered in one shot.

International Pilates Day with Johanna Ricouz Live: Saturday, May 2 at 2 PM ET / 7 PM BST

Johanna Ricouz marks International Pilates Day with a 20-minute R&B Pilates class. Johanna joined Peloton in late 2025 and quickly built a following with her no-nonsense style and deep Pilates background. She is the creator of The Pilates Plug, a methodology she developed over more than a decade before bringing it to Peloton. If you have not taken one of her classes yet, this is a great place to start.

60-Minute Total Strength with Andy Speer Live: Sunday, May 3 at 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST

Andy closes out the week with a full 60-minute Total Strength class. A full hour of strength training is a real commitment, and a strong way to set yourself up heading into the new week.
