Peloton Reiselust Classes Launch New German Lineup

Peloton Reiselust Classes Bring a Week of German Wanderlust

Ten classes across the PSL modalities debut this coming week as Peloton’s German-language instructors build out a new travel-themed collection – with two new 2-for-1s!

Peloton Reiselust classes arrive this week, giving German-speaking members a fresh batch of themed content across nearly every format on the platform. Ten sessions roll out between Monday, August 3 and Saturday, August 8, spread across yoga, cycling, running, strength, hiking and Pilates, taught by a rotating group of Peloton’s German-language instructors.

What Does Reiselust Mean?

This marks the first time Peloton has used Reiselust as a class theme. The word translates roughly to “wanderlust,” combining “Reise,” meaning journey or trip, and “Lust,” meaning desire or craving. It sets the tone for a collection built around movement, exploration and a change of scenery rather than a single discipline.

Non-German speakers may connect this translation with the German Instructors’ popular “Retro-Reise” classes that are ongoing, as a “blast from the past” style of music.

Part of a Growing Pattern of Themed German Programming

Reiselust is a new theme name, but it continues a broader run of German-language seasonal programming Peloton has built out over the past year. The Frühlings-Fit Challenge in April brought all ten of Peloton’s German instructors together for a three-week spring reset, and Peloton has continued to spotlight new instructor pairings through its Deutsche Highlights posts, including a sixth 2 For 1 Strength duo announced in July.

English programming coming out of Peloton Studios London follows a similar pattern. British Summer Fest turned into a multi-instructor live event built around a shared seasonal identity rather than a single class type. Reiselust appears to be Peloton’s version of that approach for its German-speaking members, giving a themed identity to a full week of variety instead of one discipline.
