1 Big Fix: Peloton Prop Labeling Debuts With Foam Roller Class
Peloton Prop Labeling Reveals a Quiet Fix
A single Robin Arzón encore hints at clearer equipment call-outs to come.
Peloton prop labeling took a small but notable step forward this week. Robin Arzón’s 10 minute Core Strength class, set for an encore at 5:30 PM ET Wednesday, July 29, appears on the schedule as “10 min Core Strength [w/foam roller],” calling out the required equipment directly in the title instead of leaving it to the whims of the class thumbnail or preview clip.

That distinction is easy to miss, but it stands out against Robin’s own class history. A look back through her past Core Strength sessions in her Foam Roller Collection, dating to early 2025, shows every prior title following the same simple pattern: duration, class name, instructor.

Several of those classes clearly use a foam roller based on the thumbnail, yet none of them say so in the title itself. This appears to be the first instance of Peloton spelling out a prop requirement in a class title rather than leaving it to the image alone.
We raised this exact gap earlier this year, pointing out that prop use across Peloton’s mat-based classes is inconsistent and often poorly communicated. Members have described logging into a class only to realize mid-workout that they needed a piece of equipment they did not have within reach, whether that was a loop band, a Pilates ring, or a foam roller. Weights are already filterable inside Peloton’s interface, which lets members plan a strength class around the dumbbells they own. Props used in mat-based classes have not had the same treatment, leaving instructors to mention equipment on social media, if they mention it at all, rather than in the app itself.
Why Peloton Prop Labeling Could Spread Beyond One Class
One labeled title is not confirmation of a platform-wide change, but it’s a step in the right direction for people looking for more specificity.

If this labeling approach spreads across the library, members will finally have a reliable way to prepare before pressing play instead of guessing from a photo. With the increase of Pilates- focused classes and the new Sculpt 30, let’s hope that Peloton makes things easier for us at home. For now at least, anyone taking Robin’s Wednesday encore knows exactly what to grab before class starts.
