Peloton Low Impact & Arms Collection

New Peloton Low Impact & Arms Collection Features 6 Classes

The Low Impact & Arms Collection Makes It Easier to Find This New Cycling Format in One Place

Peloton has officially launched a Low Impact & Arms collection on the platform, grouping together the newest cycling class type in one dedicated spot. The collection currently features 6 classes, giving members a straightforward way to access this format without hunting through filters.

If you missed the original launch, the Low Impact & Arms format combines in-the-saddle cycling with structured upper body segments using free weights. Peloton describes it as classes that stay primarily in the saddle for a smooth, joint-friendly experience while incorporating upper body work with free weights to strengthen your arms and challenge your body. The result is a full-body workout in a single session that suits all fitness levels.

What Is the Low Impact & Arms Collection?

The Low Impact & Arms collection is a curated Peloton cycling collection featuring classes that blend low-impact cardio with deliberate upper body programming. Each class alternates between cycling blocks and strength segments, with exercises like Bicep Curls, Arnold Presses, Overhead Extensions, and Front Raises woven into the structure. The class plan in the app breaks out individual moves with 30-second intervals, so you can preview what is coming before you start.

This format solves a practical problem for members: it eliminates the need to stack a separate arms class after a longer ride. Everything is built into a single session, which keeps total workout time efficient without sacrificing either the cardio or the strength component.

How This Differs from Intervals & Arms

Members already familiar with the Intervals & Arms ride theme will notice a meaningful distinction here. Standard Intervals & Arms classes mix bursts of higher-intensity effort with upper body segments. The Low Impact & Arms format keeps the cycling component controlled and in-the-saddle throughout, which reduces joint impact and makes the format accessible to a wider range of members. Some instructors lean toward a recovery-oriented approach; others maintain a solid challenge while simply keeping riders seated. The collection’s 6 classes will give you a solid sample of both approaches.

When the class type first launched in April, it debuted with two instructors: Mayla Wedekind and Emma Lovewell. The Low Impact & Arms collection now brings together the growing library as more instructors and class lengths are added.
