Peloton International Expansion Taps Precor for 45M Upside

Peloton currently operates in six countries. Leadership does not treat those international markets as finished territory. It described them as places where Peloton still has room to grow.

A company survey found 45 million people interested in Peloton products. For context, Peloton reported 2.475 million paid connected fitness subscriptions in the same quarter, according to its Q1 FY2027 earnings. That gap frames Peloton international expansion as a question of depth before breadth.

Smaller Homes Push Workouts Into Gyms

Home size is one of the biggest barriers. Living spaces in many countries are smaller than in the U.S. As a result, people there are more likely to work out in a gym than to make room for a Bike, Tread, or Row at home.

That limits how far an at-home hardware model can carry Peloton international expansion on its own.

Precor Gives Peloton a Path Into International Markets

Peloton international expansion slide showing the Commercial Business Unit in more than 60 countries and markets, serving over 80,000 facilities, with double-digit revenue growth in Q1 FY27.

Precor already gives Peloton a global footprint that its connected fitness hardware does not. The Commercial Business Unit reaches more than 60 countries and markets and serves over 80,000 facilities. This fall, Peloton also launched the Commercial Series, its first Bike and Tread designed for high-traffic gym environments.

Peloton plans to use its commercial business, including Precor, to extend its reach in those countries. Meeting people in the gyms where they already work out turns a space constraint into a distribution channel for Peloton international expansion.

Commercial is already a bright spot. Peloton’s Commercial Business Unit delivered double-digit growth in the quarter, according to the company’s Q1 FY2027 investor letter. CFO Sid Thacker also pointed to commercial momentum as a driver of the results. More coverage of the company’s reach abroad lives under our Peloton Global tag.

For now, Peloton’s path abroad runs through gym floors in six existing markets, where Precor can reach people who have no room for equipment at home. Peloton international expansion may look more commercial than connected in its next chapter.

Six markets, 45 million interested people, and a gym-first plan built around Precor

Peloton international expansion has a clear starting point, and it is not a new country. During the Q1 FY2027 earnings call on November 5, 2026, Peloton leadership said the company is not yet mature in the markets it already serves. Leadership also laid out how its commercial business could help it grow abroad.

Peloton International Expansion Starts in Current Markets
