Peloton Instructors Running Half Marathons

5 Peloton Instructors Running Half Marathons This Weekend

Last Updated: May 15, 2026By Tags:

This weekend, five Peloton instructors are racing half marathons across Chicago, Brooklyn, and London.

This weekend, five Peloton instructors are lining up at the start of three different half marathons across two continents. Mariana Fernández and Camila Ramón race in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 16, while Kirsten Ferguson takes on Chicago and Susie Chan and Hannah Frankson head to London on Sunday, May 17. With Peloton instructors running across three cities in a single weekend, it is a moment worth paying attention to.

Mariana Fernández and Camila Ramón: Brooklyn Half Marathon

First up on Saturday, May 16, two Peloton instructors running a half marathon will be doing it in New York. Mariana Fernández and Camila Ramón are both taking on the 2026 Brooklyn Half Marathon, one of the largest and most recognizable running events in the United States. The 13.1-mile course moves through some of Brooklyn's most well-known neighborhoods, and with Peloton instructors running this race, it draws even more attention from the Peloton community.

Mariana teaches both tread and yoga classes on Peloton, and her decision to train for and run a half marathon reflects the same cross-discipline approach to fitness she brings to her instruction. She joins a group of Peloton instructors running real-world races this spring, and the willingness to take that on personally is part of what makes her coaching credible.

For Camila Ramón, the Brooklyn Half marks her second half marathon. Her debut came at the Maybelline Women's Half on April 26 in Central Park, a race that carried extra weight after a foot injury involving an accessory navicular had previously forced her to step back from an earlier planned race. Getting to that April start line was already a comeback story. Lining up again in Brooklyn just weeks later says something about where she is right now.

Camila teaches cycling, running, and strength in both English and Spanish as Peloton's first bilingual instructor. Her tread training background connects directly to the demands of distance running, and the experience of preparing for and completing a half marathon adds dimension to what she brings to her classes.

With Peloton instructors running in Brooklyn this weekend alongside the Chicago and London fields, the same weekend captures something that does not happen often: five members of the same roster competing at races simultaneously. Track Mariana and Camila in real time at the Brooklyn Half Marathon live results page, and follow their social channels for race day updates.

Kirsten Ferguson: Life Time Chicago Spring Half Marathon

On Sunday, May 17, Kirsten Ferguson will be running the Life Time Chicago Spring Half Marathon, representing hydration partner DripDrop. The Tread instructor is taking her fitness off the platform and into the streets of Chicago for one of the city's most popular spring running events. Kirsten Ferguson Chicago Spring Half is the race to watch if you are in the area or following along online.

DripDrop's sponsorship of Kirsten's race appearance reflects a growing focus on electrolyte balance and recovery as essential parts of endurance training, topics that translate directly to the kind of work Peloton members do in tread and strength programming. Kirsten Ferguson Chicago Spring Half brings that conversation to a public race course, where the demands of 13.1 miles make hydration strategy impossible to ignore.

For members who have taken Kirsten's tread classes, seeing her apply that same endurance focus to a real-world race is a natural extension of what she teaches. Peloton instructors running community events like this one reflects the same commitment to athletic development that drives the programming they lead every day. Kirsten is one of several Peloton instructors running major races this weekend, making Sunday a big day for the community to follow along.

Susie Chan and Hannah Frankson: HOKA Hackney Half

Also on Sunday, May 17, Susie Chan and Hannah Frankson will be on the start line of the HOKA Hackney Half in East London. As Peloton instructors running one of the largest half marathons in London, they bring a recognizable presence to an event that already draws more than 27,000 registered runners. Peloton is the Official Cross Training Equipment Partner for the 2026 event.

Susie Chan's connection to this race runs deeper than this year's partnership. She ran the very first Hackney Half in 2014 when the event launched, which gives her participation in 2026 a personal weight that goes beyond an ambassador appearance. For Hannah Frankson, Sunday will mark a milestone of a different kind. She posted this week that the HOKA Hackney Half will be her first half marathon. The Peloton Studios London Run Club series this spring has been structured around this race, with Susie and Hannah both leading training sessions in the weeks leading up to race weekend.

On Saturday, May 16, Susie Chan leads a pre-run mobility class at the Race Village, with sessions scheduled at the House of Fitness and on the Main Stage. On race day, Sunday, May 17, Joslyn Thompson Rule leads a warm-up at the Start Stage at 8:55 AM and a post-run cool-down on the Main Stage at 11:00 AM. Peloton also has a cheer zone set up at Mile 9 on Lamb Lane.

Hannah Frankson, alongside Susie, has been a consistent presence in the Peloton Studios London Run Club programming built around the HOKA Hackney Half. For members who trained alongside them this spring through the Peloton run club content, seeing them on the actual start line is the payoff of that shared preparation.
