Focus Flow for Runners Gets 2 Race Week Classes
Zacharias Niedzwiecki and Mariana Fernández, both running the NYC Marathon, bookend race weekend while 68 more classes in English, Spanish, and German wait on demand
Peloton’s two newest Focus Flow for Runners classes land on either side of the NYC Marathon, giving runners a Yoga option for the final days of taper and the hours after the finish line. Zacharias Niedzwiecki leads a 15-minute class on Thursday, October 29, and Mariana Fernández follows with a 30-minute class that arrives on demand on race day, Sunday, November 1.
Peloton is promoting both classes under a “Get Race Day Ready!” banner. They join a collection that already holds 68 other Yoga classes for runners, ranging from 10 to 45 minutes and taught in English, Spanish, and German.
Zacharias and Mariana Are Running the NYC Marathon
Both instructors are teaching these classes during their own race week. Zacharias and Mariana are among the eight Peloton instructors running the NYC Marathon, according to the list New York Road Runners announced on October 13. Mariana has run the race multiple times.
The pair also join Matt Wilpers to lead the Peloton x NYRR shakeout run in Central Park on Friday, October 30, the day after Zacharias’s class. Members taking these classes will be following instructors who will be on the start line themselves.
Focus Flow for Runners Before the NYC Marathon
Zacharias’s 15-minute class is on the Peloton schedule as a live Yoga class at 2:45 PM ET on Thursday, October 29, which is 6:45 PM GMT for members in the UK. That puts it three days before the race.
At 15 minutes, this class fits around a shakeout run, a travel day, or a packed race week schedule. It also works for members training for a different fall race, or anyone who logs miles on the Tread or outdoors and wants a short Yoga session on the calendar.
Zacharias already has a 45-minute Focus Flow for Runners class in the Peloton library, so this release gives runners a shorter option from the same instructor when time is tight.
Mariana Fernández Covers Race Day and Recovery
Mariana’s 30-minute class goes on demand at 12 AM ET on Sunday, November 1, or 4 AM GMT. Members who prefer to take class at a set time can join the encore at 2:15 PM ET that afternoon.
The encore lands on race day itself, and the on-demand version stays available for the days after the NYC Marathon. A 30-minute Focus Flow for Runners class gives finishers, and the training partners cheering from home, a structured way to get back on the mat once the medals are handed out.
68 More Focus Flow for Runners Classes On Demand
The new releases build on a deep catalog. Beyond these two classes, the Peloton Focus Flow for Runners collection includes 68 other Yoga classes. Lengths range from 10 to 45 minutes, and classes are available in English, Spanish, and German. Several came from earlier releases earlier this year.
A sample of what’s available now:
• 10 min with Zacharias Niedzwiecki, from May 1, 2026 • 10 min with Denis Morton, from December 27, 2025 • 15 min with Kirra Michel, from May 9, 2026 • 30 min with Mariana Fernández, from May 17, 2026 • 15 min and 30 min in Spanish with Mariana Fernández, from December 4, 2024, and November 3, 2025 • 20 min in German with Nico Sarani, from December 18, 2024, and November 12, 2025
Fitting Yoga Into Race Week
The range of lengths makes the Focus Flow for Runners library easy to slot around a race. A 10-minute class fits after a short taper run, while the 20 to 45-minute options suit a full recovery day.
Language options widen the audience. Members who take class in Spanish or German can follow Mariana Fernández and Nico Sarani in their own language.
Members who prefer Stretching to Yoga have another choice. Marcel Maurer’s 15 min Mobility for Runners is a German-language Stretching class released on February 6, 2026.
With the NYC Marathon set for November 1, Peloton’s two new classes give runners something to take at both ends of race week, from the final days of taper to the first easy days after the finish. For members not on the start line, the Focus Flow for Runners library remains a ready resource for fall and winter training, in three languages and at almost any length.
