Peloton City2Surf 2026 Brings Joslyn and Tim Together

Peloton City2Surf 2026 Brings Joslyn and Tim Together in Sydney

Peloton City2Surf 2026 Shows a Bigger Australian Push

A Team Peloton entry and a pre-race morning with Joslyn Thompson Rule and Tim Robards give Sydney members a real way into race week.

If you have been following Joslyn Thompson Rule’s countdown to City to Surf, Peloton just gave that story two new chapters. City2Surf 2026 now includes an official Team Peloton entry for Sydney members, along with a pre-race event putting Thompson Rule on stage with Australian Guest Instructor Tim Robards just two days before the race. As we predicted!

Peloton Australia’s Instagram account, pelotonozriders, opened Team Peloton registration last week, with three weeks to go before the August 9 race. City2Surf runs 14 kilometers from Hyde Park in Sydney’s CBD to Bondi Beach, drawing more than 80,000 runners and live bands along the route, and joining the official Peloton team gets members a 2026 Peloton Runner’s Singlet plus a Finisher’s Village Surprise waiting at the finish. Anyone already registered on their own can email [email protected] to transfer into Team Peloton.

A Pre-Race Morning With Joslyn and Tim

Two days before the race, Peloton Australia is hosting the Peloton Wellness Warm-Up, a live morning event with Joslyn Thompson Rule and Tim Robards on Friday, August 7 at 7 a.m., presented alongside Voltaren, City2Surf’s longtime naming partner. Spots are limited, and full event and RSVP details are still to come.

For anyone who has been reading along as Thompson Rule works through her six-week training block, this is a nice payoff. She and Robards appearing together right before she takes on the course herself gives race week a real event to build toward, on top of the run itself.

Between the Team Peloton entry and a live event featuring two instructors, Peloton is building a genuine presence in Sydney around City2Surf this year, not just a sponsored mention. More details on both are expected as race day approaches, and we will update as RSVP information becomes available.
