Olivia Amato Mental Health Awareness Walk

The Olivia Amato Mental Health Awareness Walk
Peloton has a class worth adding to your schedule before May 19: a Mental Health Awareness Walk with Olivia Amato, Live Tuesday at 5:30 PM ET. Every Peloton member who completes the Olivia Amato Mental Health Awareness Walk earns a themed badge for their consistency trophies. The 20-minute session is described by Peloton as a special movement session dedicated to its ongoing partnership with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
The NAMIWalks Connection to the Olivia Amato Mental Health Awareness Walk
This class is the Peloton-specific anchor for a broader effort the platform and lululemon have organized around NAMIWalks, NAMI’s nationwide community fundraising walk series. Events are taking place in cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, and others throughout May. The two brands are working toward a joint $30,000 fundraising goal to support NAMI’s advocacy, education, and mental health support programs.
NAMIWalks events are designed to bring people together around mental health awareness and reduce the stigma that keeps many people from seeking help. The walks are open to participants of all backgrounds and fitness levels, and the funds raised go directly toward NAMI’s mission of building better lives for people affected by mental illness.
Peloton’s involvement here is not new. The platform has maintained a formal partnership with NAMI since May 2021, one that has expanded steadily into financial support, platform content, and community engagement. For the full scope of that relationship and how to find a local walk near you, see our earlier coverage: NAMIWalks Gains Major Support from Peloton and lululemon and Peloton and NAMI Partnership Drives Mental Health Support.
