Tory Burch Event Nico Sarani

Tory Burch Founders Circle Welcomes Nico Sarani for Uplifting Rooftop Yoga

The Tory Burch Foundation’s Founder Circle invited Peloton instructor Nico Sarani to lead a yoga class on the rooftop of the luxurious William Vale hotel in Brooklyn – and she might have manifested it! On June 9, 2026, Nico shared an Instagram post from the event’s morning session with the NYC skyline as the backdrop. The post was warm, personal, and quietly revealing: the scene, she admitted, had been sitting on her vision board.

“One of those mornings I’ll definitely remember,” she wrote, adding that the experience reminded her of “what’s possible when women come together and support each other in manifesting their dreams.” She closed with a heartfelt thank-you to the Tory Burch Foundation and a full-throated endorsement of vision boards. Consider this a co-sign from someone who clearly knows how to use one.

Who Is Nico Sarani?

Nico Sarani joined Peloton in spring 2021 as the platform’s first German-language yoga instructor – a trailblazing role she has spent five years growing into something far bigger than a language-specific lane. A yoga trainer, meditation coach, and mindset practitioner, Nico has lived and trained across New York, London, Berlin, Bali, Fiji, and Amsterdam, drawing from a wide range of cultures and traditions to shape a teaching style defined by positivity, intention, and genuine depth. She teaches primarily in German from Peloton’s New York studio, but her influence extends well beyond any one language or platform. The “Nico’s Greatest Hits” collection was just recently added to the platform. This is a great place to start if she is new to you.

Expanding Beyond the Mat

While Nico’s foundation is rooted in her Peloton classes, her work has consistently reached well beyond the app. On her personal website, she describes hosting a range of workshops and retreats throughout the year, collaborating with the Adidas brand, and regularly contributing to Mark Whitwell’s teacher trainings in Bali with her work featured in publications including Zeit Online. She has also served as Ex-Co-Captain of the Adidas Runners Crew, a role that placed her at the intersection of performance, mindset coaching, and community building.

More recently, her social impact footprint has grown through Peloton’s partnerships: in May 2026, she led the wellness session at the launch of Peloton’s Community in Motion initiative in Chicago, a collaboration with LISC placing 75 bikes in underserved neighborhoods across the city, with the first activation at the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation’s Healthy Lifestyle Hub. She has also co-led large-scale community events abroad: in October 2025, she joined fellow Peloton instructors for a week-long retreat of empowerment and movement attended by 250 women from Germany and Austria. Taken together, these efforts paint a picture of someone who views wellness not as a product to deliver, but as a vehicle for connection, community, and real-world impact – exactly the kind of mission that earns a seat in a room full of female founders.

Who is Tory Burch?

Tory Burch is an American fashion designer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Born on June 17, 1966, in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, she studied art history at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to work with notable names in fashion including Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren, and Narciso Rodriguez.

She launched her eponymous label in 2004 and has since built a global apparel and accessories brand known for its American bohemian-preppy sportswear aesthetic, stocked in over 250 Tory Burch boutiques and more than 3,000 department and specialty stores worldwide. She currently serves as Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of the company, and has an estimated net worth of $850 million with the brand valued at approximately $1.5 billion.

About the Tory Burch Foundation

Tory Burch launched her Foundation in 2009 to back the empowerment of women in America by providing small business loans and entrepreneurial education. The foundation has supported thousands of women entrepreneurs, with its Capital program, powered by Bank of America, distributing $100 million in low-interest loans to 5,600 women entrepreneurs. The goal is to increase women’s economic power by supporting entrepreneurs in building businesses that last.

Its Fellows Program connects extraordinary women entrepreneurs with the tools, networks, and resources needed to scale and lead – prioritizing founders who are committed to growing with intention. The Founders Circle brings that community together in a more intimate setting, creating space for connection, inspiration, and the kind of peer support that sustains long-term success. With a bold goal of unlocking $1 billion in economic impact for women entrepreneurs by 2030, the Tory Burch foundation has become one of the most meaningful platforms in the female entrepreneurship space.

A Vision Board Moment Worth Noting

What makes Nico’s post particularly resonant is the vision board detail. It wasn’t a throwaway line – it was a small window into how intentionally she has been building her life. A rooftop yoga session with inspiring women, hosted by one of fashion and philanthropy’s most recognizable names, Tory Burch, at a landmark Brooklyn hotel … that’s not something that just happens. That’s something you picture first.

For Peloton members who have followed Nico’s journey (she recently celebrated 5 years at Peloton!) this moment feels like confirmation of something many already suspected: she is building something much bigger than a class schedule. And she’s doing it one breath, one vision, one rooftop at a time.

About the Author: Liz Nikol (#JustAskForHelp)

My daily therapy is provided by Peloton and I truly believe that movement is medicine. I don't discriminate - bike, tread, yoga, strength, pilates and a ton of meditation. By day, I am a psychotherapist and director of a large counseling center in NJ. I am particularly passionate about women's mental health, especially in midlife. By night, I am a mom to 2 dachshunds and a scruffy mutt and wife to a chiropractor that keeps us all moving (yes, that includes the dogs!). Besides Peloton, I am obsessed with hard rock (think Octane on Sirius), Law and Order everything and a good thriller. Find me on the Peloton leaderboard at #JustAskForHelp.
