Matty Maggiacomo Baby Shower Draws Family and Friends

The Matty Maggiacomo baby shower brought family and close friends together for a small celebration hosted by Matty, his husband, Evan, and Amanda, the woman Matty called the real star of the show. Matty shared the day on Instagram, and bee-themed cookies labeled Baby Bea in a friend’s story have followers wondering whether the couple just hinted at their daughter’s name.

Matty and Evan posted a joint Instagram carousel with Amanda, who is tagged as @krausmomma. His caption opens with “It takes a village” and says the photos show only a fraction of the friends and family who have supported the couple on this journey.

Matty Maggiacomo Baby Shower Keeps Family Close

The Matty Maggiacomo baby shower drew a small group that included Matty’s family and several friends. Notably, this gathering had the same intimate feeling as his wedding. One commenter wrote that his mom and sister look just as they remember from “LSA days.” Matty was raised in Rhode Island and attended La Salle Academy before a career in television journalism and his move to Peloton in 2018. Matty has long shared his family with the Peloton community, including a studio visit from his mother that The Clip Out covered on the podcast.

Matty and Evan, who married in a small Central Park ceremony in 2025, announced in September that they are expecting a baby girl, due in winter 2026. This Matty Maggiacomo baby shower follows that announcement by a few weeks.

Baby Bea Cookies Hint at a Name

Matty’s close friend and former Peloton staffer, Travis, (@travis.nyc) posted a story of bee-themed cookies from the gathering and labeled them Baby Bea. The label has fans reading the bees as a nod to a possible name for the couple’s daughter. The couple’s own posts do not state a name, so the cookies remain a hint rather than an announcement.

Amanda Draws Speculation After the Matty Maggiacomo Baby Shower

Matty tagged Amanda, their surrogate, in the caption, called her the real star of the show, and told her that he and Evan love her. Amanda replied to the post that she could not love the couple and their family more.

Matty’s caption closes with a promise of more to come. With a baby girl due in winter 2026, the Matty Maggiacomo baby shower marks the next stage of a story the couple has shared with their community since September. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
