Matt Wilpers NYRR Strength for Runners Class Sold Out
Matt Wilpers NYRR Strength for Runners Class Is Sold Out Before it’s Promoted on Peloton
The October 22 class at the NYRR RUNCENTER is full, but the listing shows where to follow future events around the TCS NYC Marathon.
The Matt Wilpers NYRR class is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the NB Run Hub in New York City, and tickets are sold out. New York Road Runners listed the 45-minute Strength for Runners session on Eventbrite without a broad announcement from Peloton, so it is easy to miss unless you follow NYRR directly. The class is one of several in-person events tied to the TCS NYC Marathon.
Matt Wilpers NYRR Class Details
NYRR describes the session as a strength for sport workout designed to improve running strength and stability. It focuses on the glutes, quads, and hamstrings, with exercises tailored for runners. The listing calls it a dedicated strength training class.
Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., and class starts at 6 p.m. The 45-minute workout runs until 6:45 p.m., followed by a member Q&A and photo session scheduled to end at 7:30 p.m. The schedule appears to mirror the class that Logan Aldridge recently taught in the same venue, where our Helper Bee was a lucky attendee.

Peloton Instructors at the NYRR Run Center
The class follows other Peloton instructor sessions at the NYRR Run Center ahead of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Mariana Fernandez led a yoga class there on September 21, which we covered in our roundup of Peloton NYC Marathon events. Logan Aldridge followed on October 7 with his own Strength for Runners class. Lisa Warner shared a recap of that session, including the workout and the Q&A afterward.
Marathon Weekend Events Still Ahead
The Matt Wilpers NYRR class lands inside a busy window, with the TCS New York City Marathon set for November 1. Peloton’s marathon lineup also includes a Peloton x NYRR Shakeout Run on October 30, a Cheer Zone in Greenpoint on race day, and Medal Monday at Peloton Studios New York on November 2, per our earlier reporting. Wilpers is also running the marathon, along with Ash Pryor, Mariana Fernandez, Camila Ramon, Kirsten Freguson, Robin Arzon, Hannah Frankson, Alex Karwoski, Zacharias Niedswiecki (and his partner Antoni Porowski), according to the NYRR.
Where to Find Future NYRR Events
The Matt Wilpers NYRR listing is full, but the NYRR organizer page on Eventbrite lists more events from New York Road Runners and includes a Follow button. Following the organizer is the simplest way to see new listings as they post.
Members who cannot attend in person can still work Strength for Runners into marathon training. The Pace Your Race Marathon program runs 18 weeks and includes Tread runs, mobility, and meditation. It places the class type on day three of the weekly schedule beginning in Week 4.
The Matt Wilpers NYRR class arrived online with little notice, so the organizer page is the place to check for any waitlist options or to keep an eye on future opportunities.
