The in-app notification reads, “You unlocked a Club Peloton live class. Get early access as a Gold Member or above.” Members who qualify can count themselves in now and add the class to their schedule ahead.

What to Know About This Club Peloton Live Class

The class will feature Pace Targets, Peloton’s guided running metric that gives members structured effort zones to hit throughout an interval workout rather than relying solely on pace or heart rate feedback. At 30 minutes, the Intervals Run format fits a demographic likely to include members training for shorter, harder efforts rather than long steady-state runs.

Aldridge joined Peloton in 2021 as its first adaptive training consultant before becoming a full instructor. He is also a co-founder of the Adaptive Training Academy and has built a following around inclusive fitness programming, including the Adaptive Seated Transfer Program. His running catalog has grown alongside that adaptive work.

A Rotating Pattern Across Tiers

This is not the first time Peloton has gated a live class by Club Peloton status, and the eligibility threshold has moved around rather than following a strict ladder. The “locked/unlocked” format opened with events exclusive to Legend and Champion members, then expanded to Silver members for a Charlotte Weidenbach EDM ride in February. In March, Denis Morton’s Low Impact Ride set a Gold-only threshold. Becs Gentry’s HIIT Run in May followed that same Gold-and-above model. Jon Hosking’s 90s Walk in June returned the threshold to Silver, and Hannah Corbin’s Low Impact Ride went back to Legend-only status shortly after.

Club Peloton runs on a points-based system with 11 total levels spread across five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Champion, and Legend. Points accumulate through workout days, streaks, milestones, challenges, and community activity rather than performance or leaderboard output, according to Peloton’s own description of the program.

Members can check their current status under the You tab in the Peloton app. After the live broadcast, the Intervals Run will move to the on-demand library, where it becomes available to members across all tiers.
