Kirra Michel Joins Love Shine Play with 3 Classes
The Peloton instructor will lead three limited-capacity yoga sessions at the annual Asheville festival this July.
Kirra Michel is taking her practice off the platform and into the mountains. The Peloton yoga instructor announced via Instagram that she will be teaching at Love Shine Play Festival, a four-day yoga and wellness event held July 23-26, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina. For members who have practiced with her on the app, this is one of the few chances to work with Kirra Michel in person.

What Is Love Shine Play Festival
Now in its eighth year, Love Shine Play Festival is an annual yoga event set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, NC. The four-day gathering brings together yoga teachers, wellness guides, live musicians, and practitioners for workshops, sound healing, nature hikes, meditation sessions, and community programming. Each year the festival draws a curated mix of presenters spanning styles that include vinyasa, yin, Ayurveda, bhakti, and more. Tickets are on sale now at loveshineplay.com/tickets2026.

Kirra Michel’s 3 Classes at Love Shine Play
Kirra Michel is on the schedule for three sessions spread across the festival weekend. All three are listed as limited capacity. Here is what each class covers:
Slow Burn, Power Flow — Friday, July 24, 12:00-1:15 PM EDT (Ella)
This vinyasa session moves between slow, deliberate movement and rhythmic, heat-building sequences. The class is built around the yoga principle of sthira sukham asanam, steadiness and ease in each posture, and weaves strength and softness into a single balanced flow. If you are familiar with the dynamic range Kirra Michel brings to her Peloton yoga classes, this session will feel right at home.
Flowing Through the Koshas — Saturday, July 25, 8:00-9:15 AM EDT (The Solarium at Restoration)
Inspired by the kosha model, the yogic framework describing the layers of the self, this class moves through progressively paced sequences that build strength, power, and control. The structure carries practitioners from physical body and breath work into deeper awareness and insight. The stated intention is to cultivate that precision and ease both on and off the mat. Fans of the introspective quality that defines much of Kirra Michel’s teaching will recognize that thread immediately.
Strong Spine, Open Heart — Sunday, July 26, 12:00-1:15 PM EDT (Masonic Temple Ballroom)
The closing session focuses on spinal health through a combination of strength work, mobility, and fluid vinyasa. The class targets the front and back body in tandem, building space through the chest and shoulders while strengthening the muscles that support the spine. The goal is a sense of spacious ease by the end of the 75 minutes. It is a fitting close to what amounts to a full weekend arc with Kirra Michel across three distinct class formats.
