Jessie Malone Reveals Special Song 10 Years in Making
The Peloton Studio Producer is releasing a song she wrote a decade ago, out Friday, Sept. 4

Jessie Malone is stepping away from the production booth and into the spotlight. The Peloton Studio Producer announced she is releasing a new song on Friday, Sept. 4, marking her return to a piece of music she first wrote ten years ago.
Malone shared the news on Instagram, explaining that she has spent recent months going through her personal archive of old songs. She credited her collaborator Andrew Zucker with helping her finish several of those tracks, including this one, which he also produced and mixed.
Jessie Malone Revisits a Song a Decade in the Making

What makes this release different from a typical single drop is the timeline behind it. Malone wrote the song ten years ago, long before she joined Peloton, and said revisiting that earlier version of herself was emotional. She described the process of finishing it now as healing, a chance to sit with the perspective and mindset she had a decade prior and bring it to a finished product.
The project also includes a music video, with Malone crediting Kelly Rae Mac and Aimee Dulake as collaborators on that visual component. No further details on the video’s release timing have been shared.
From Behind the Camera to In Front of It
Peloton members may recognize Jessie Malone from a different kind of story. In 2024, she went to the emergency room after experiencing an elevated heart rate and was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. She discussed the diagnosis and the lifestyle changes that followed in a segment with TODAY alongside cardiac electrophysiologist Dr. Marc Miller, a story The Clip Out covered when it first came out.
That health scare pushed Malone toward running. She trained for and completed the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, and shared her story on a Set the Pace outdoor class alongside Becs Gentry, walking members through her path from diagnosis to marathon finish line. As a Peloton Studio Producer, Malone typically works behind the scenes shaping the classes members take every day, so appearances like that one, and now this song, offer a rarer look at her own story.
The song will be available wherever fans stream music starting Friday, Sept. 4. For a Peloton Studio Producer whose work usually lives in the background of someone else’s workout, this release puts her own decade-old words front and center.
