Hudson Williams Peloton Campaign Content Removed Amid Photo Controversy

Old high school photos resurfaced in June. Peloton says the timing was coincidental. Here is what the record shows.

Hudson Williams Peloton campaign content was removed from the platform’s social media accounts in June 2026, and the timing landed in the middle of a controversy over resurfaced high school photos showing a swastika drawn on his face. Here’s what we know.

TMZ first reported the removal on June 12, 2026, noting that posts on Peloton’s Facebook and YouTube accounts that once featured Williams were no longer active. Queerty followed the same day with additional context on Peloton’s stated reasoning and the fan reaction to it.

How the Hudson Williams Peloton Campaign Started

In April 2026, Peloton launched “Let Yourself Go,” a campaign built around Hudson Williams, star of the Prime Video series Heated Rivalry. The Clip Out covered the campaign’s debut, its expansion into instructor-led content featuring Adrian Williams and Tunde Oyeneyin, and a behind-the-scenes Peloton Strength class where Tunde and Adrian shared stories from the shoot.

The Hudson Williams Peloton campaign generated significant buzz inside the Peloton community. Multiple rounds of behind-the-scenes reels followed the initial launch, and the rollout was framed internally as the opening chapter of a larger brand platform rather than a single ad spot.

What the Photos Showed

In early June, old photos began circulating on social media showing Williams in what appears to be a high school photo with a swastika drawn on his face, alongside other markings. The images went viral within days.

Williams distanced himself from the photos publicly. Sources close to him told TMZ that the markings did not and have never reflected his beliefs, values, or character, and described the imagery as the product of an annual school tradition involving intoxicated teenagers during a prank. Actor Simu Liu publicly defended Williams, and people who said they attended school with him also spoke up in his defense online.

The Stated Explanation for Removing Hudson Williams Peloton Content

Within days of the photos surfacing, Hudson Williams Peloton content was no longer visible on Peloton’s social accounts. Peloton’s position, per Queerty’s reporting, is that Williams’ contract ran through May 31, 2026, and that the campaign reached its natural, contractually agreed-upon end. Collaborative campaigns of this type typically run four to eight weeks, which is consistent with that timeline.

Fan reaction has been split on whether that explanation accounts for the full picture. Queerty’s reporting noted that fans were not convinced the timing was coincidental, pointing to the removal of campaign billboards and the unfollowing of Williams’ account alongside the deleted posts.

Some fans on social media have suggested the response reflects a deliberate distancing from the controversy rather than a scheduled wind-down. To date, neither Peloton nor Williams has issued a detailed public statement addressing the removal directly; the contractual-end explanation is attributed to Peloton through secondary reporting.

Where Hudson Williams Stands Now

The controversy has not slowed Williams’ career. He and Heated Rivalry costar Connor Storrie have each received an Individual Achievement in Drama nomination at the 2026 Television Critics Association Awards, part of five total nominations for the series.

This story sits at the intersection of a brand partnership, a viral controversy, and a contract timeline that may or may not have anything to do with each other. The Clip Out talked about this story on the June 24, 2026 podcast, and will update this piece if Peloton or Williams issues a direct statement.
