Peloton Debuts Hannah Frankson’s 1:3:5 Ride Sept. 22

Her new signature series blends endurance, intervals, and high-intensity pushes into one structured ride.

PSL has a new class format to in its lineup. Peloton confirmed the Hannah Frankson 1:3:5 Ride as a new signature series, with the debut class airing live Tuesday, September 22 at 1:30 PM ET (6:30 PM BST). The announcement, shared on Peloton Studios’ Instagram account, frames the format as a fresh structure rather than a one-off theme ride, which puts it in the same category as the permanent shape Frankson gave her HIIT and Hills classes earlier this year.

What the Hannah Frankson 1:3:5 Ride Structure Includes

The Hannah Frankson 1:3:5 Ride gets its name from the way the class is built. According to Peloton’s description, the format combines one sustained endurance effort, three progressive interval blocks, and five high-intensity pushes inside a single 30-minute class. That structure gives riders a clear map of the work ahead: a steady effort to open the class, a build through three intervals that increase in demand, and five short, hard efforts layered on top.

The approach mirrors what Frankson did with HIIT and Hills, where she moved from a class that changed week to week to one with a fixed, repeating sequence. Riders who found that predictability useful now have a second Frankson format built the same way, just with a different mix of efforts.

Where It Fits Among Frankson’s Other Formats

Frankson already teaches across a wide range of Peloton formats, from Power Zone Endurance rides to FTP tests to Tread classes. The 1:3:5 Ride adds a structured, progression-based option to that list rather than replacing anything already on her schedule.

Peloton has built out a broader Progression Ride collection in recent months, designed to help riders build endurance gradually without pushing into breathless, all-out efforts. The 1:3:5 Ride shares some DNA with that collection in its emphasis on a clear, escalating plan, though Frankson’s version leans harder into the high-intensity finish with five pushes built into the back end of the class.

When to Take the First Hannah Frankson 1:3:5 Ride

The debut 30-minute Hannah Frankson 1:3:5 Ride streams live Tuesday, September 22 at 1:30 PM ET (6:30 PM BST), with the on-demand version available shortly after for members who cannot join live. Members on the Bike, Bike+, or the Peloton App can access the class through the standard cycling library once it posts.

For a format built around a fixed structure, the first ride matters. It sets the pattern riders can expect every time the 1:3:5 Ride shows up on the schedule going forward, the same way Frankson’s HIIT and Hills sequence became a known quantity once she locked it in.

Who is excited for what she’s cooking up?
