Greta Dopp SWAGGER Feature Reveals 5 Inspiring Truths
SWAGGER Magazine profiles Peloton’s first Canadian instructor, and her Instagram carousel fills in even more
Greta Dopp is getting a new kind of spotlight. The Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature, published this week by SWAGGER Magazine, sits down with Peloton’s first Canadian instructor to talk about her move to New York City, her Sculpt Pro method, and why she believes movement should never feel like punishment. It is the kind of profile that gives members a much closer look at who she is beyond the Peloton platform.
What the Greta Dopp SWAGGER Feature Covers
Writer Kristen Anzelc joined Dopp for a Feral Friday Pilates class at Peloton Studios New York, and the Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature opens with that same warmth members already recognize from her classes. Dopp, who grew up in Collingwood, Ontario, still seems to be processing her own title. “I’m the first Canadian instructor,” she told SWAGGER. “It’s absolutely amazing, and also insane.”
Her path there was not a straight line. Dopp was working a corporate job in British Columbia before she quit to complete her yoga teacher training, eventually building a full-time teaching schedule across Vancouver studios. That stretch of teaching up to six classes a day is where she developed what she now calls her Sculpt Pro method, a style she describes as Eastern philosophy delivered through a quick, Western-style workout.
From a DM to Peloton Studios New York
The Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature also revisits how the opportunity found her. A message from Peloton’s talent team landed in her Instagram inbox, and her first instinct was skepticism. “I got a DM, and at first I thought the account looked fake,” she said. “Thank God I checked my message requests.” Even through the audition process, she says it never fully registered that the job would be hers. She moved to New York in January 2026 and now lives in Brooklyn, teaching Pilates at Peloton Studios full time. It is one of several details the Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature draws out that had not surfaced in earlier coverage, including her VITA Daily feature from earlier this year.
Dopp told SWAGGER that being Canadian shapes how she teaches as much as anything on her resume. “There is a certain kind of warmth and humility Canadians are known for,” she said, “and I really try to bring that to the mat.” She also opened up about her recovery routine, which includes saunas, cold plunges, low lights, incense, and a coffee ritual she protects fiercely, sometimes waking at 4 a.m. just for a quiet cup before the day starts. That level of detail is what sets the Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature apart from a typical instructor announcement, and it shows how much thought goes into the Sculpt Pro method off the mat as well as on it.
More From Greta Dopp’s Instagram Q&A
Dopp also recently posted a “get to know me” carousel on Instagram, reintroducing herself to the wave of new followers she has picked up since the Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature and her Peloton debut. The caption reads simply: “so many new faces, thought it would be fun to re-introduce myself, thanks for being here friends x #aboutme.” It adds even more backstory to what SWAGGER already covered, including her time as a scuba diving instructor in Madagascar and Honduras, and months spent living out of a van with her sister across California, Oregon, and Mexico with nothing but a paper map.

She also answered a round of rapid fire questions for followers. Her most underrated exercise is the glute bridge, and Drake and Rufus Du Sol are guaranteed spots on her workout playlist. She is a morning workout person, and her comfort shows are The Office and Grey’s Anatomy, though her favorite Grey’s character is Christina Yang. Her go-to order is a dirty chai with extra cinnamon.
Between the Greta Dopp SWAGGER feature and her own Instagram carousel, members now have a much fuller picture of the instructor behind Feral Friday Pilates. It also adds to a growing list of press for Dopp, following her feature in The Kit earlier this year.
