Peloton Instructors Teach Free Yoga at Bryant Park This May

5 Peloton Instructors Teaching Free Yoga at Bryant Park

Free yoga at Bryant Park opens its 2026 season with Nico Sarani on Wednesday, May 27, and she is the first of several Peloton instructors taking the mat through September.

Bryant Park’s 2026 yoga series runs twice a week from May 27 through September 16, with Tuesday morning classes at 10:00 AM on the Upper Terrace and Wednesday evening classes at 6:00 PM on the lawn. Presented by Halara, the series is free, open to all levels, and features some of New York City’s top yoga instructors, including a notable concentration of Peloton talent spread across the summer schedule.

The Peloton Instructor Lineup

The Peloton presence runs across both days and most of the summer. Here is who is on the schedule for free yoga at Bryant Park and when.

Free Yoga at Bryant Park Summer 2026 with Nico Sarani

Nico Sarani opens the Wednesday series on May 27. A Peloton yoga, meditation, and foam rolling instructor, Nico joined the platform in spring 2021 as its first dedicated German-language yoga instructor. Her teaching philosophy centers on what she calls the “work-in,” which is the idea that yoga is as much a mental and emotional practice as a physical one. She has built one of Peloton’s most distinctive presences in the wellness library, covering Slow Flows, Yin Yoga, and meditation in both German and English. Her five-year anniversary feature on TCO covers her full journey with the platform.

Kirra Michel takes the Wednesday lawn on July 8. Kirra grew up in Lennox Head, Australia, immersed in movement from an early age through surfing, dance, rhythmic gymnastics, and time spent outdoors. She later moved to New York City, where yoga and meditation became tools for navigating the intensity of city life and her own personal growth. She joined Peloton in April 2021 alongside Mariana Fernandez and Nico Sarani, and quickly established herself as a teacher who brings both physical rigor and genuine introspection to the mat. TCO recently covered the launch of her Greatest Hits Collection, a 79-class curated library marking her five-year anniversary on the platform.

Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee co-teach the Wednesday lawn class on August 12, making it the only joint session of free yoga at Bryant Park in the Peloton-connected portion of the schedule. Colleen is not a stranger to the platform. She was one of Peloton’s first dedicated yoga instructors, teaching the original “Beyond the Ride” collection beginning in 2015, before the current yoga program launched. Her return to the Bryant Park series, alongside Rodney, is a full-circle moment for Peloton members who know the history. For more on where she has been since, TCO’s Former Peloton Instructors guide has the full picture.

Mariana Fernandez teaches the Wednesday class on September 2, delivered in both Spanish and English. Mariana joined Peloton on April 22, 2021, and her catalog spans yoga, running, and meditation, giving her one of the broadest ranges on the platform. She brings the same energy and intention to outdoor settings that she brings to the studio, and her Bryant Park appearance follows a string of high-profile live events. TCO covered her five-year anniversary collection earlier this spring.

Anna Greenberg closes out the Wednesday series on September 9. Anna’s love for yoga began when she felt a switch turn on inside of her after practicing for the first time, and she has been on a mission to share its transformative power with others ever since. On the Peloton platform, she teaches yoga, meditation, and Pilates, and has developed a signature approach to weaving music into her sequencing that carries across every format she teaches.

Free Yoga at Bryant Park, Denis Morton

Denis Morton rounds out the Peloton contingent in the Tuesday morning series on September 8. Denis joined Peloton in July 2017, making him one of the platform’s longest-tenured instructors. He teaches cycling and yoga on the platform and is known for his technical coaching style, his emphasis on riding and moving to the beat, and his Deep Dive series built around single albums. His free yoga at Bryant Park appearance marks a return to the outdoor, community-facing side of teaching.

The full schedule, including non-Peloton instructors across both days, is available on the Bryant Park yoga page.

What to Expect and How to Register for Free Yoga at Bryant Park

All classes run for one hour. Bring your own mat, water, and a towel. The park does not provide equipment. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in at one of the four lawn corners, each marked with pink barricades or a pink tent. Wednesday evening classes are also streamed live on Instagram at @bryantparknyc for anyone who cannot attend in person.

Registration is required and strongly encouraged in advance. Pre-registered participants receive weather-related cancellation updates via email. Separate Eventbrite links are available for Tuesday and Wednesday sessions. Both are on the free yoga at Bryant Park page.

This is not the first time Bryant Park has drawn on Peloton’s instructor roster for its summer series. TCO covered the 2024 edition when several of the same instructors appeared on the schedule. The 2026 lineup builds on that pattern with more Peloton names across more weeks.

With International Yoga Day landing on June 21, Nico’s May 27 kickoff sets the tone for a summer that keeps delivering, both on the Bryant Park lawn and on the Peloton platform.
