Ash Pryor Marks Suicide Prevention Month as NAMI Ambassador
Peloton Pilates Instructor Directs Followers To Mental Health Resources

Peloton Pilates instructor Ash Pryor used an Instagram post this week to mark suicide prevention month, pointing her followers toward mental health resources instead of a workout tip.
Ash Pryor is a NAMI Ambassador, and her post explained why. She cited NAMI figures showing more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, more than 1 in 7 U.S. youth ages 6 to 17 experience a mental health disorder each year, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death among people ages 10 to 24. Her message to followers was direct: you are never alone.

The post lists the NAMI HelpLine (800-950-NAMI, or text NAMI to 62640), a link to find a local NAMI chapter, and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, reachable by call or text at 988. She tagged the post with #neveralone, #suicidepreventionmonth, and #nami, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Ash has talked before about mental health as part of her work, from leading a stretch session at the NAMI NYC Metro 5K Walk in May to a speaking slot at NAMICon 2026. This week’s post fits that same pattern, using suicide prevention month to point people toward real resources rather than just posting about it.

For a Peloton instructor whose classes already lean on encouragement and permission to rest, the shift from workout cues to crisis resources reads less like a departure and more like an extension of how Ash Pryor already coaches.
