Ash Pryor Pilates Class Uncovers Her 20-Min Marathon Routine
Her first standalone Pilates class builds on her program and opens up the routine behind her marathon long runs

I took the new Ash Pryor Pilates class the day it landed, and it plays like an invitation. Ash says she is bringing members into her personal routine. It is the same mat work she has been using to prepare for her marathon long runs.
The 20-minute intermediate Ash Pryor Pilates class arrived on Peloton on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in the Strength category. It is her first standalone Peloton Pilates class since her Advanced Beginner Pilates program arrived on August 21, 2026.
The class plan splits into a 6-minute warm-up and a 14-minute full body section. The description says it builds core strength, flexibility, and body awareness. It also introduces longer Pilates flows, progressions, and more challenging choreography to build strength and stamina.
Launch the class here.

Inside the Ash Pryor Pilates Class Warm-Up
The warm-up opens with a minute of 360 breath. Two rounds of upper body activations follow, with a steering wheel move between them. A spine twist and a full minute of roll ups close it out.
Six minutes is a generous warm-up for a 20-minute class. It gives your spine and core time to wake up before the longer flows begin.

The 14-Minute Full Body Section
The main block starts with two lower body sequences, then moves into internal-external rotation and the Hundreds. A short set of roll ups leads into the side-lying work.
From there, the class alternates side-lying leg lifts and banana pose, with swimmers in between. Each round of banana pose runs a full 90 seconds, the longest efforts in the class. Rolling like a ball closes it out.
In this Ash Pryor Pilates class, the circle shows up throughout. It sits at the ankles for side-lying leg work and stays in play on your back with legs lifted toward the ceiling.
Coaching That Paints a Picture
Ash coaches the entire class, and everything she says is about the moves. Her cues are visual, which makes the choreography easy to picture even on the first try.
During the roll up, she asks you to imagine your spine as a string of pearls or a bike chain. Each pearl drops onto the mat one at a time until your head gently rests, with your arms overhead like the number 11.
That style of cueing carries through the Ash Pryor Pilates class from start to finish. It keeps the focus on how each move should look and feel.
How It Builds on Her Program
This Ash Pryor Pilates class builds beautifully off her program. It picks up where those nine classes left off, adding longer flows and progressions at the perfect pace for members ready to take the next step.
The familiarity helps. Ash uses the same cueing language from her program, so anyone who completed it will follow along easily. That consistency keeps the focus on the work rather than on new terminology.
Ash joined Peloton as a Row instructor in 2022 and completed her Pilates certification before her program launched. Her Pilates teaching stands out for how clearly she explains movement. She also delivers a consistent message that Pilates is for every body, including athletes in larger bodies.
The Playlist
The playlist includes Higher by DJ Khaled featuring Nipsey Hussle and John Legend, Let It All Work Out by Lil Wayne featuring Sampha, and LET HER COOK by GloRilla. Nicole Kidman by ADÉLA, LOST YO MIND by Beyoncé, and Party Up by DMX round out the mix.

A Look Inside Her Marathon Routine
This Ash Pryor Pilates class is personal. Ash is training for the TCS New York City Marathon on November 1, 2026. It will be her first full marathon, and it follows her return from knee surgery earlier this year. This is the mat work she has relied on to support her long runs.
The routine is also how she keeps showing up for Row members. It helps her keep delivering the Ash whippings her Row classes are known for while her marathon mileage climbs.
That pairing gives this Peloton Pilates class a practical angle for anyone balancing Tread runs, Row classes, and Strength work during a fall race season.
Props for This Peloton Pilates Class
Grab a mat and a water bottle. Ash also suggests a towel to wipe away those sparkles and what she calls her “magic” Pilates circle.
No circle? Ash offers options. You can press your palms together where the circle would sit, or shape your hands into a pretzel. She specifies a gluten-free pretzel, since Ash is gluten free.
Who Should Take the Ash Pryor Pilates Class

If you finished Ash’s program, this Ash Pryor Pilates class is the natural next step. The intermediate label signals more challenge, but the shared language and steady pace keep it approachable.
At 20 minutes, it pairs easily with a Tread run, a Row class, or a Strength workout. It also works on its own on a busy day. The class adds Ash to a Pilates roster that includes Aditi Shah, Anna Greenberg, Emma Lovewell, Greta Dopp, Johanna Ricouz, Mila Lazar, and Rebecca Kennedy, all highlighted on Peloton’s Pilates hub.
The bottom line: this Ash Pryor Pilates class is going into my Pilates rotation as I continue to train for a marathon. Ash built it around the work that supports her long runs, and it fits right alongside mine.
Peloton has not announced a regular Pilates schedule for Ash. Still, she released a standalone Ash Pryor Pilates class less than four weeks before race day. That timing shows how central this practice has become to her own training. We are hoping this is the first of many Pilates classes from Ash, and that a live Pilates class with her lands on the schedule soon.
