Adam Grant Peloton Class Dropped 10/13 with His Book
Adam Grant Peloton Class Reveals Vibe Conversation
Robin Arzon ran with the Wharton psychologist to talk Vibe, better questions, and building stronger bonds.
The Adam Grant Peloton class dropped Tuesday, October 13, at 9 a.m. ET, pairing the organizational psychologist with Robin Arzon for a prerecorded conversation (with members!) about his new book, Vibe. The discussion centers on how people build stronger connections, themes Robin previewed in Instagram Stories the day before. Launch the class here.
What Robin Previewed Before the Adam Grant Peloton Class
Robin posted a series of Instagram Stories on the evening of October 12. The text hinted at the topics for the Adam Grant Peloton class: how to strengthen connections and bonds, how to ask better questions, and how to remain curious, for example. She closed the preview with “be circle openers” and a “let’s freaking go!” For fans of the prolific author and speaker (we mean Adam here), this sentiment is echoed throughout the Peloverse!
Adam Grant and the Ideas Behind Vibe
Grant is an organizational psychologist at Wharton. His TED talks have been viewed more than 35 million times, and he hosts the podcast ReThinking with Adam Grant and The Curiosity Shop, where he partners with Brene Brown.
Vibe: The Secrets of Strong Connections in a Lonely World applies his research to relationships. According to the publisher, the book argues that similarity is not necessary for solidarity, chemistry does not always happen quickly, and closeness does not always take time. Grant builds the case with astronauts who came to trust people they did not like, a comedy troupe that credits time apart for staying together, a band that grew closer by fighting more, and a journalist whose gathering led to 78 marriages.
Check out the book here.

Grant also writes about his own path as a shy introvert who became a convener. That story gives the conversation a personal anchor, and it sits close to Robin’s closing call to be a circle opener. The book is the foundation of the Adam Grant Peloton class. The book was released on October 13, the date of the class drop On Demand, and he is launching a book tour with an early stop this same day in NYC with Malcom Gladwell and Oz Pearlman.
Where Robin Arzon and Adam Grant Overlap
Robin has built much of her public work around mindset. She has taught a MasterClass on mental strength, wrote the empowerment journal Welcome, Hustler, and is the author of Shut Up and Run and Strong Mama. She has also spoken with Grant before. On ReThinking with Adam Grant, in an episode titled “Redefining hustle culture,” she discussed her anxiety in gym class and being teased as a child for the way she ran. The conversation they have on the Treads in this class is likely to be eye opening and relatable.

Who Will Likely Enjoy the Adam Grant Peloton Class

The Walk + Run class itself features Robin and Adam side by side on Treads, chatting. The music tilts themed, as Robin tends to, with such motivational tracks as Unwritten and Don’t Stop Believin’. If this kind of Robin class is your jam, lace up your sneakers and get moving! The class plan is 25 minutes of progressive intervals with recovery, starting with easy and moving to challenging at the end. It would not be Robin if she didn’t push, but it seems like there is plenty of opportunity to take this as you can so that you can listen to the chat at the same time as working.
Crossing the line into entertainment, this class appears to offer solid movement with expert-backed conversation. Sometimes it’s good to change things up… will you be giving this Adam Grant Peloton class a try? How “curious” can you be?
