The 261 Fearless Brunch brings Peloton instructors Mariana Fernández and Ash Pryor together on Friday, October 30, to moderate a conversation about how running changes women’s lives. Peloton is hosting the event at its New York City headquarters, and tickets must be purchased before Wednesday, October 28.

The event is organized by 261 Fearless, a nonprofit that builds women’s running clubs around the world. New York City is the first stop on a national tour, and members who can’t travel can still watch, since the organization plans to stream the full event live.

What to Expect at the 261 Effect Panel

The centerpiece of the morning is the 261 Effect panel, the first in a series of national conversations 261 Fearless is taking on tour. According to the organization, leaders, partners, and allies will share personal stories and explore how running creates change in women’s lives, businesses, and communities.

The official flyer sums up the event in three words: inspire, connect, and amplify. The conversation centers on celebrating courage and the ripple effect of women’s empowerment, along with the impact women can make when others invest in them.

261 Fearless Brunch Date, Time, and Tickets

The 261 Fearless Brunch starts at 11:00 a.m. ET on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Peloton Headquarters, 441 Ninth Avenue, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10001. Brunch is provided, and the dress code is business casual, with no jeans.

Tickets are available through the 261 Effect Panel Givebutter page, which also accepts donations for anyone who wants to support 261 Fearless without attending. Ticket sales close before Wednesday, October 28, and space is limited.

Event partners listed on the flyer include adidas, Beyond, Peloton, and Marathon Tours & Travel.

How to Watch the 261 Fearless Brunch Livestream

You don’t need a ticket to follow along. 261 Fearless will livestream the brunch on its Instagram channel, so members across the country can hear the discussion in real time.

Mariana Fernández and Ash Pryor Lead the Conversation

Both moderators bring firsthand running experience to the discussion. Mariana teaches running, yoga, and Spanish-language classes at Peloton, and she recently brought her Run and Flow format off the Tread with an in-person community event in New York City.

Ash Pryor teaches Row and Pilates classes at Peloton, and running is a personal pursuit she carries outside the studio. This spring, she returned to the Cap City Half Marathon, the race where she ran her first half, to cheer on more than 12,000 runners.

The timing adds another layer. Two days after the 261 Fearless Brunch, both moderators will be on the start line of the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1. Ash earned her spot through an approved charity partner application, a milestone she shared when she announced her NYC Marathon plans.

The Story Behind the 261 Fearless Brunch

The 261 Fearless Brunch honors the 60th anniversary of Kathrine Switzer’s 1967 Boston Marathon moment. Switzer wore bib 261 and faced an attack mid-race to become the first woman to complete the race.

In 2015, Switzer and Edith Zuschmann founded 261 Fearless as a global network of non-competitive running clubs for women of all ages and abilities. Six decades after that first 261 moment, the panel tour carries the same idea into boardrooms and communities across the country.

For Peloton, opening its headquarters to the 261 Fearless Brunch connects two of its instructors with a cause that reaches well beyond any single workout. Whether members run outside, row, roll out a mat for Pilates, or simply tune in on Instagram, the 261 Effect panel offers a clear message from organizers: running is just the beginning.
