TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (8/28/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 03/01/2024 Miami Bass Ride with Camila Ramon
  2. 08/13/2024 Walk+Run with Susie Chan
  3. 07/12/2024 120 Minute Endurance Run with Matt Wilpers and Susie Chan
  4. 07/18/2024 Jack Antonoff Yoga Flow with Mariana Fernandez
  5. 05/02/2024 2010’s Run with Mariana Fernandez

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

  1. Favorite Ride

03/01/2024 Miami Bass Ride with Camila Ramon

Pat Darling recommended this ride, saying “I don’t revisit classes often, but I was looking for something to get me out of my physical and mental rut.  So I needed something high energy and fun.  If you like high energy, booty-shaking music, then I highly recommend this class.  Camila was on fire and truly enjoying herself, which translated to pure fun.  Warning, rated R.”  We don’t mind an R rating when it helps us forget we’re sweating up a storm, Pat!

  1. Favorite Walk+Run

08/13/2024 Walk+Run with Susie Chan

This 45 minute walk/run has a widely varied  playlist and plenty of variety to keep you moving, with intervals of running and walking, and including an uphill walk.  Becky Kithcart Gomez said this “is the perfect class if you are working your way back into longer runs.  Susie’s coaching and personality is engaging as always, and the playlist was perfect and had everything from Wham to Taylor Swift.”  (Note:  Peloton has recently acquired the rights to Wham’s music, and you’ll find their songs in quite a few classes – I’m enjoying this blast from the 80’s past!)

  1. Favorite Outdoor Run

07/12/2024 120 Minute Endurance Run with Matt Wilpers and Susie Chan

Lizchauhan21 recommended this run (everybody’s loving Susie this week – and you get Matt on this run as well!)  Liz  said “wow what a class. [Matt and Susie] broke it into sets of 10 with 8 on and 3 off, and the conversation was great.  I loved the mix of genres for music and hearing about their experiences in racing.”    Hearing the instructors talk makes you feel like you’re running with friends – plus you get a lot of great tips from these experienced runners.  Follow our link to find the class or look under Collections, Half Marathon, Week 8, since the marathon and  half marathon classes aren’t found in the general class listing.

  1. Favorite Yoga Class

07/18/2024 Jack Antonoff Yoga Flow with  Mariana Fernandez

If you don’t know who Jack Antonoff is, our article gives you the run down – but two words:  Taylor Swift and Bleachers (okay, technically that’s three words).  The music for this yoga flow is fantastic!  Gvanloenen recommended this class, saying the “class was amazing!! Sweaty but not too intense with a great playlist.”  This class was rated a 5.6 difficulty level by members who took it, so it’s great for beginners  too.

  1. Favorite Unstackable Run

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

05/02/2024 2010’s Run with Mariana Fernandez

This class was suggested by Karen Brady – it’s our unstackable class this week based on Karen’s description – just remember, “unstackable” doesn’t mean “undoable.”  Karen said “every Wednesday I am given a substantial workout from my coach for my marathon/half marathon training. It’s usually a 90 minute morning, which means an early start.  Without fail, I turn on Mariana Fernandez’ 90 minute 2010’s Run…and it always gets me through the tough paces and the workout. The stories…the music…it’s like I’m running with a friend who is just encouraging me, even when the run feels impossible…that I can get the finish.  I  need more of these from Mariana! “   This class has 23 songs and 60 running movements.  Fortunately,  with the right coaching, even an unstackable class can be fun!

Thank you!
