Last Updated: October 25, 2023By Tags: ,

The Clip Out community shared their favorite Peloton classes with us this week, and the recommendations were powerful. We’re sharing the five most enthusiastic nominations from our community (in no particular order). Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 11/20/22 45 min 90s Run with Adrian Williams
  2. 10/9/23 30 min Feid Ride with Camila Ramón
  3. 10/10/23 20 min Witness Walking Meditation with Kirra Michel
  4. 10/13/23 45 min Pop Ride with Jenn Sherman
  5. 10/15/23 45 min Cover to Cover Ride with Jenn Sherman

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite, but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Group had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Run

11/20/22 45 min 90s Run with Adrian Williams

Joanne Bradley Murphy knows a good thing when she finds it, and she’s not letting this one get away.

“I’ve taken this class so many times! The playlist, Adrian’s energy and the runners in the studio are all outstanding. I add it to the middle of a long run when I know my energy is starting to go downhill.”

Adrian packs this playlist with so many 90s gems, including Do Me! by Bell Biv DeVoe, Short Short Man by Gillette, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!! by Vengaboys, and, to finish the class, Pony by Ginuwine.

The class program is a solid progressive interval workout. After a six-minute warmup, Adrian takes you through 3 blocks of work: 4 intervals of 3 minutes running and 1.5 minutes jogging, followed by 4 intervals of 1 minute sprinting and 1 minute walking, and finally 3 intervals of 2 minutes uphill running and 2 minutes uphill jogging.

This class is definitely no walk in the park, but Adrian’s coaching and encouragement keep you feeling and running strong from start to finish.

2. Favorite Peloton Artist Series Ride

10/9/23 30 min Feid Ride with Camila Ramón

We talked about the Feid artist series ride in last week’s episode, and this week listener Michael S. Davern said it was his favorite class of the week. If you haven’t taken this class yet, take Michael’s word for it and check it out!

“OMG. What a hoot. Lots of Spanish but lots of English as well. “Only” 20,500 so far have taken that class. It should be more. So many firsts, as mentioned last week on the show. Feid teaching some of the class. The green bike. Lots of studio production value. Feid singing and riding at the same time. Camila fan-girling and showing some of her real personality. Fun class and I have never heard of his music. Happy to get the recommendation to take this ride.”

This class is so much fun, but has the potential to pack a punch too—a third of the class is a climb, and the energy from both Camila and Feid will have you moving just as much as you’re grooving the whole time.

3. Favorite Peloton Meditation

10/10/23 20 min Witness Walking Meditation with Kirra Michel

Mia Batol is an early adopter of Peloton’s new Meditation format. She tried one of the Walking Meditations and liked it so much she listed it as her favorite class of the week.

“Kirra Michel’s 20 min Witness Walking Meditation was perfect. Literally felt the stress fall off.”

Exercise goes a long way toward managing stress, but an intentional moving meditation might go even further. Peloton describes this class as a walking meditation that explains the technique of stepping back and becoming an observer of your thoughts or actions in order to find a new perspective. This sounds like the perfect antidote to a stressful week.

4. Favorite Peloton Ride

10/13/23 45 min Pop Ride with Jenn Sherman

So many people were moved by Jenn Sherman’s classes this week. Both her Friday and Sunday classes received lots of love, but we’re highlighting the Friday class here. (The Sunday class makes it in as our Unstackable pick of the week (#5 on this list)!)

In the wake of the beginning of the latest Israel-Hamas war, Jenn Sherman, who is proudly Jewish, was visibly shaken throughout the ride. But even as Jenn grappled with her own feelings, she led the class with strength and grace, and riders came away feeling comforted and connected.

Ronnie Joy Parker described the class as “so moving and yet comforting as well.”

Shari Slater Rosenberg said she “got a good cry from both of [Jenn’s weekend classes].”

Beverly Lynn said “[Jenn] had her head down most of the ride. I could tell she was crying and fighting through legit and understandable emotions.”

Jenn curated a powerful playlist for this emotional moment. Love Yourself by Justin Bieber, Halo by Beyonce, Praying by Ke$ha, F**kin’ Perfect by P!nk, and Fix You by Coldplay all took on deeper meaning as Jenn guided the class through their work.

Take this class to show your support for Jenn and to find a little catharsis and comfort during this difficult time.

5. Favorite Peloton Unstackable Ride

10/15/23 45 min Cover to Cover Ride with Jenn Sherman

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

For this week’s “Unstackable” recommendation, we heard from Michael S. Davern. Michael was among the many listeners who were moved by Jenn’s most recent 45-minute classes. He pointed out that not only was the Sunday 10/15 class emotionally powerful, but it was physically powerful as well.

“[JSS’s] Sunday class was a 45 min ride. [In addition to being emotionally moving,] that should go on the unstackable list as well. Legs still wobbly a day later.”

A really intense workout can’t make all the bad things in the world disappear, but sometimes it can help us feel strong enough to face them. Or at least like we’re not alone in doing so. This class is the perfect example of the power of the Peloton platform and community. Thank you to all the listeners who recommended it, and especially to Michael for adding it to the Unstackables list.

Thank you!
