TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (9/18/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

1. 05/24/2024 20 Minute Arms and Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy

2. 08/06/2024 30 Minute Pop Walk  with Jess King

3. 08/07/2024 30 Minute Chapell Roan Walk + Run with  Matty Maggiacomo

4 .07/08/2022 20 Minute Lower Body Stretch  with Hannah Corbin

5. 09/15/20204 60 Minute Power Zone Ride with Christine D’Ercole

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Strength Class

05/24/2024 20 Minute Arms and Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy

Once again, Rebecca is getting some love for her strength classes.  Carrie McGilvery Logan said  “I absolutely love this class  for shoulders,  triceps and biceps.  I will be doing it many times.  Music was good also.  And Rebeccca struggled along with me.”  It is great when an instructor complains about their own class right along with us!   With only two minutes of warming up and eighteen minutes of thirty different arms and shoulder moves, you’ll be glad this class is only twenty minutes long!

2. Favorite Walk

08/06/2024 30 Minute Pop Walk  with Jess King

Tara Curtis said this walk was “awesome.  I had a beautiful day to walk outside while my son had lacrosse practice.  The playlist was amazing!”  Tara, we agree – this playlist ranges from Yaz and Rod Stewart to Prince, Lady Gaga, Wilson Phillips, and more!  A great variety and Jess always keeps the energy up – and we love your multitasking – getting your blue dot while also getting your son to practice!

3. Favorite Outdoor Walk + Run

08/07/2024 30 Minute Chapell Roan Walk + Run with  Matty Maggiacomo

Don Rudee took this Walk + Run and loved it, saying “This was such a great outdoor class to walk/run with my doggie, Luna.  Chappell Roan has burst onto the scene and I took this class twice!  Matty’s comments are always amazing and interesting.  Two thumbs up!”  Don, we’re glad you’re enjoying taking Peloton outdoors with you, and we’re glad Luna gets to enjoy some time outside, too!

4. Favorite Stretch

07/08/2022 20 Minute Lower Body Stretch  with Hannah Corbin

Stretching isn’t for the weak (just take a look at the thumbnail for this class), but step back into the way back time machine and try this one! Christine Beers Weston (#nomorerunning) nominated this class  and said it was an “insane hip and hamstring opener.  Don’t be intimidated by the thumbnail = I’m nowhere near a split, you don’t have to be.”   Katie Bromley agreed, saying “this is my favorite stretch – I do it two to three times a week.  I’m “cloesish” to a split but think I’m as far as my body will allow.”  Great job Katie, and it’s a good reminder not to ignore stretching and that gains and progress exist in every Peloton modality!

5. Favorite Unstackable Power Zone Ride

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

09/15/20204 60 Minute Power Zone Ride with Christine D’Ercole

Christine can, and will, and does…..give us this week’s unstackable class.  Check on your friends who took this class, because they might still be lying in a pool of sweat, based on their comments.  Carrie McGilvery Logan said “This was probably the hardest ride I have ever done.  Simply couldn’t do it as called out.  It was a points race and a scratch race all in one ride.  I held on riding for 60 minutes, which I called success!”  Jamie Brooks agreed, pointing out that “Christine said on her live after it is the hardest ride she’s ever taught!  My friend was in studio and his photo with her looks like he just got out of a pool.”   Who says you can’t get a great workout on a bike that goes nowhere?

Thank you!
