We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 5/15/2024 Creating Space Yin Yoga with Kirra Michel
  2. 5/11/2024 Two for One Mother’s Day Ride With Jess King and Robin Arzon
  3.  5/11/2024 EDM Run with Becs Gentry

  5. 5/12/2024 Sims60 Bootcamp with Jess Sims

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Yoga Class

5/15/2024 Creating Space Yin Yoga  with Kirra Michel

This 20-minute yoga class had all the feels, was team-taught with Denis Morton,  and was a great way to start  Mental Health Awareness Month.  This is the first of Kirra’s “Creating Space” series with classes that focus on stretching and resilience of both body and mind.  Kelly Quirk-Ceperley said that Kirra’s “honesty about living with depression was so refreshing” and Barbie Fisher agreed, saying Kirra was “so honest with her own mental health struggles.”   Cortney Marisa said she hadn’t really connected with Kirra before as an instructor but she loved how honest and real Kirra was during this class.   This class definitely provides a great way to take care of both your body and your mind!

2. Favorite Peloton Ride

5/11/2024 Two for One Mother’s Day Ride With Jess King and Robin Arzon

Who doesn’t love a two-fer, and especially when we’re  celebrating moms!  Danette Royal Giles said “the playlist was perfect, featuring songs by and about mothers, the interaction between Robin and Jess was poignant without feeling performative, and it was also a serious workout.”  With songs like “I Love You Always Forever,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “This Girl is on Fire,” the music in this class was very motivating, and Jess and Robin’s banter was both fun and heartfelt.  Cortney Marisa loved this class too, saying “two beautiful mamas being honest, real, inspiring, and funny as hell.  I definitely want to retake it!”   Melissa Smith  (#GingerLaughs) said “It was fun, heartfelt, and a great workout!”

3. Favorite Peloton Run

5/11/2024 EDM Run with Becs Gentry

Tina Buan (#whatsupchknbutt) said this Saturday morning run was her favorite class this week.  She said she “woke up feeling like not doing anything, but this class got me pumped.  Loved the playlist.  Thankful to Peloton for keeping me going.”  With nine separate running movements in the class and 45 minutes of great EDM music, try this class when you need a longer run and are feeling a bit less than enthused – you may just find your second wind!

4. Favorite Peloton Stretch Class

5/26/2021 Mood Full Body Stretch: Calm with Matty Maggiacomo

We sometimes don’t consider stretching our favorite, but a great stretch can improve your whole day!  Amanda Marie Morris said “I took this stretch with Matty and I just really needed it that day.  It was so soothing, comforting, and relaxing. It made me tear up!”  And as we all know, sometimes a good cry is what you need to get all the feels out.  This class included the amazing medley “Over the Rainbow/What A Wonderful World” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole and Matty’s trademark calmness, plus a fantastic full-body stretch.

5. Favorite Unstackable Peloton Strength

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

5/12/2024 Sims60 Bootcamp with Jess Sims

I think we can all agree that stacking any Jess Sims class, especially a 60-minute class, would be very difficult!  Jessica Sanford said “It is not for everyone because it was hard AF!  But I absolutely loved it!”  After a warm-up, this class included three full-body segments and three running segments, including a sprint and an uphill jog.   It all adds up to some serious strength and cardio together, leaving you with nothing more to give!
